 :iagree: And the thing with different names and methods is very true. The knot I usually use for fobs on my SAKs is often called the diamond knot, but the Ashley Book of Knots refers to it as the lanyard knot.

I've made you all wait long enough.  Here are the surprises I selected from the Surprise box.  First out of the box was a couple of kerchiefs courtesy of Farmer X.  I know he sent them because he left a note with them.  Second is a CRKT version of the AG Russel Sting boot knife.  I've actually wanted a Sting since I saw the originals around 1980 and never got around to getting one because it was such a low priority.  Third item was a 2 bladed Jack knife by Imperial.  I'm going to enjoy this in next months Dean 51 memorial challenge.  Fourth is a Klein electrician.  I'm not an electrician but for some reason I find these knives especially interesting.  Don't ask me why. I can't explain it.  Fifth item is a Kershaw flipper that came in a leather slip which I also kept.  It's not a high end Kershaw, but it felt good in my hand and I would compare it favorably to the same sized CRKT M-16 that I've had for several years now.  The sixth and last item out of the surprise box was a utility knife similar to the Gerber EAB. I have already used this to open a box of cat liter.  If you haven't tried one of these exchange a blade utility knives that use the common utility razor blades I recommend them.  You'll be amazed at how many of your daily cutting chores can be performed well with a sharp utility cutter so you don't have to dull up or mar your good knives.  :cheers:

Took a while to go through everything, but ended up picking out the ESEE Zancudo, this thing has a super smooth action with no play in the the blade.  Also picked out a Schrade leather pouch, the Victorinox Swiss Tool fits perfectly in it and also snagged a couple 91mm scissor springs!  Thanks to all who donated!  Added some stuff and box is packed and ready to go!
