Monthly Bump.

We're still looking for the next person to get the box.  All you have to do is add your name to the list and PM your address to the person ahead of you on the list so they can send you the box when they are done with it and then you'll send the box to the next person when you're done with it.

I said I wasn't going to do this again.  But, it looks like the box is stuck in its current location.  Put me on the list, and I will send the box holder a PM with my address.  Maybe this will get things circulating again.  Best wishes.  G

I'm sure that's it.  According to his data, he hasn't been on here in three days.  Nothing unusual.  People do have a life and obligations.  Just keeping things bumped up.  Might stir someone new to the possibility of joining in on the game.  I meant to go pick up a spare box today but forgot about it.  I saw someone at the local post office pick up a pack of medium flat rate boxes.  Evidently used them in his business.  The USPS will let you have a pack of 10 or 25.  No cost for boxes.  I like to use the free labels also.  Best wishes.  G

I appreciate the reply, Alan.  I did ask for comments after all.  The backyard varmints and I will wait a little longer.  I think I enjoyed reading the posts from the members who got things they liked out of the box better than getting it myself.  Best wishes.  G

lazar had the box before SubMY so he has SubMy's address. If lazar can send him a post card and let him know he's missed on the forum, and that IMR4198 wants the box next, hopefully, SubMY will respond.  Brother lazar, can we make that happen?

I'm still here.  No nooz.  Might be a good thing?  If I do get the box, I could be stuck with the thing.  So instead of getting the box back into circulation, I might just be creating myself another (un-needed) headache.
I got a MTo start page ad yestiddy.  It had a string of head shots of some nice looking younger women.  Then, in the corner of each photo there was a price tag.  The low price was $4.50.  There was one $24 lady, and one with a $1699 sticker price.  She probably left out a decimal.  It is hard to beieve that the high priced one would be 377.555 times better than the low priced version.  I guess I just don't understand woman pricing.  Maybe I should take out an ad?  How about "Nice used IMR.  A fixer-upper.  Has own tools.  $4.50 OBO.

Bummer!

My ads vary, on some pages, suggesting KIA SUVs, another was picked up trucks and on this page, Swiss Army Knives via a familiar knife store.

No ladies😉,  maybe I am to old now!

So enjoy them while you can see them!  Eye surgery next month, so, maybe will see again without this cloudy border.   Do not grow old buddy!

I'm trying not to grow old, but I'm failing. And for some reason, I'm getting ads for home furnishings.

I had to go to Walmart and Post Office, so I picked up a new medium box and a shipping label/sticker.  Getting ready.
I have a fun way of getting to Walmart.  My mailbox is exactly one mile from the entrance to the Walmart center.  I look at my odometer, and start down the road watching the little numbers spin.  When they reach exactly one mile, I close my eyes and wrench the wheel to the left.  I wind up in the entrance lane every time.  There are lots of people around here who don't know how to drive.  They honk horns.  Slam on their brakes making terrible screechy noises.  Yell nasty things.  Worked perfectly this time.  I don't know what's wrong with people.
At Walmart, I walked down to the knife display.  Lots of empty spaces there.  There was a $31 Tinker.  Red.  The same $68 black Trekker.  And a new one.  I thought it was a Huntsman, but I squinted and left a nose print on the glass to see it was an Explorer.  $65.
I took a photo of my new unassembled box and a shipping label being held down by a blue Classic.  Why?  Why not.  Will I ever get to use it?  Looks kinda dim.  Australian Surprise Box....missing.  EuroBox....gone.  SOS Box?.... we will see.  Best wishes.  G

Wow!  One mile you say, that seems amazing.

Reminds me of an incident  I experienced working in a parking garage of a hospital in INDIANAPOLIS.

I was performing maintenance on a Enterance lane, the ticket dispenser with several BRIGHT ORANGE  cones marking  THE LANE CLOSED!

When I hear, a crunching noise, looked over my left shoulder, and see a faded blue Chevy pickup truck  pushing cones and on approach to knock me over.
I jumped clear, and approached the driver YELLING “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?  DID YOU NOT SEE THE CONES!?”

The driver looking straight ahead, calmly said, “No.”

His wife in the passenger seat, leaned toward the center, and said, “He is blind, I was telling him where to go!, it is my fault!, SORRY, I can not drive.”

I reached in, grabbed the keys and turn them off and removed.  Called security, and told the couple to wait there.

Yep, I can just imagine your experience with other folk as well.
😜

Yep, people are nutters.  Everyone knows that a pilot can fly by instruments, right?  Why do people get so excited to see someone driving by instrument?
As far as the wife driving from the co-pilot's side, my aunt Melita did that for my old uncle Rob for years.  "Look out, Stinker.  You missed the turn off.  You're driving in the wrong lane.  AAAAAKKKKK, you're going to kill us both. "
Best wishes.  G

One of my favorite family tales,

Uncle Irv and Auntie El lived in Kentucky south of Cincinnati!
They just got a cell phone, and Uncle Irv took it with him to his bowling league night.

On the 11PM news an urgentplea was issued that there was a truck driving south on the north bound lane of I-75.

Auntie El realized that IRV would coming home that way as it was time and the shortest way home.   So she called him on the cell phone.

Irv answered, “Yea, want ya want, I ‘m on my way home if you need to know!”

“I just wanted to tell you to be careful, somebody is driving the wrong way on that freeway!”

“SOMEBODY!,  DAMN WOMAN, THEY AWL ARE!?!?”
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

I'm super sorry! My wife and I just had our second kid so I've been a little busy with life. I'll pack up the box and have it sent off tomorrow afternoon!

Here's the little spawn in case anyone is interested. 🤣 I'll blame him for the delay. He can't defend himself.
