Opened up a resupply package of ground Chipotle pepper.
One can never have enough! :tu:

In the Navy I had some stuff that makes instant seem gourmet.
I can attest to that as well. At least it contained caffeine.

The Isula II fits perfectly in the horizontal carry leather sheath made for the Bradford Guardian...
Could be a viable option. Thanks for the tip! :tu:

Thanks for the kind words, y'awl, and what a great day of photos!

Day 10

It.was looking like a no use day until I realized I hadn't made fries for dinner. The half hawk cut the bag open.

Day 11

I went outside to enjoy the slight chill in the air this morning with my pipe, copper Zippo, and the Buck 140.

Day 10

This Colonial Electrician had no part in spatchcocking this 16 pound turkey, but was available in case it was needed.
Wow, what's the occasion?  Nice eating!

Nice one!  Really like the shape/pattern of this knife, if it were to weight any less, I would have jumped on it long ago...

Day 11

Haven't really carried the Spirit MX for a long while, I almost forgot how nice it was to carry it.  The only thing I wish is to have a wider opening for the scissors without having to do a Stitchy mod on it.

Here is the follow up to my day 10 picture.  The spatchcocked turkey, fresh from the oven.  The Colonial Electrician still standing by just in case it is needed.

How do you like the Colonial, Alan? I've been enjoying carrying the TL-29 pattern, and thinking of picking up another. Colonial is one of the few real brands still making them, but they're pretty spendy.

I really like the electrician knives but the only one I had before was a 3 blade Colonial with a hawksbill as the third blade and some old, old, celluloid grips that I worry might be too fragile for heavy use.  LoopCutter sent me the 2 blade Colonial along with a Camco (Camillus) a couple of months ago and I've been carrying them both off and on. They're both civilian versions as neither is marked TL-29.  The Camco seems a little heavier duty than the Colonial as the screw driver blade is thicker.  Both needed to be oiled but the Camco especially was a nail breaker.  The Colonial seems almost new.  I didn't know they were still making them.  I know that Klein Tools still makes them along with some other tool companies.  I'm not actively seeking them but I will buy them when they turn up.  I like the bailer and the half stop on the blades and that the screwdriver blade locks.  Pick 'em up as you find them they are useful little buggers.

Thanks comis :tu:
It’s about 150gm I believe, so not much less than a rebar feels but great in the hand and lighter than a 110 which is a bit on the weighty side for edc
Couldn’t resist its looks tbh :)

Cutting that stupid netting out of a pair of swim trunks. Also took a turn on the Falkniven to touch up the edge.
