I read this review a few years ago. I was considering buying the Legend but this review turned me off to the idea. Really cool you dug this up.

One of the things that, personally, keeps me away from most Gerbers, is their size to function ratio. The tools are physically HUGE but usually the drivers and blades and stubby and short.
Fan of the Leatherman mini-bit driver and the Vic backspring philips.

To be honest the Legend was just too bulky for my taste. Went with the Wave instead. This was around 10 years ago.

I have a few gripes with the 800, the first being that the pliers don't open wide enough; they have limited usefulness, how it doesn't have a can opener, and I am not a fan of the jigsaw blade adapter; and it comes with the a Remgrit blade which leaves much to be desired...
