My Gerbers  a have quite a few of the Shards but with the exception of the silver one shown, they all look like the black one pretty much :D

Also pictured is a Mullet, Artifact and a Gutsy

I am still looking for an Artifact and a brown Shard.

Yes  :tu:

Black and silver are readily available, and blue is available in some places and on eBay. But I have not found the brown one yet.

Thanks Stitchy :hatsoff:

The Leatherman 4 was one of the By the Numbers that went on clearance for a while similar to the way the Shooter is

:hatsoff: to Poncho and Adam, and some terrific photos from awl!

I looked for Shards on eBay, and found a lot of 12 blue ones for $90. Believe me, if my spending money wasn't gone, I'd have bought them.

Lansky Roadie

It is an okay tool. The sharpener may appeal to some. The Phillips driver is mediocre. The scraper is sharp but small. The wrench works. Not much more to say.

I’m a OPMT user, but not really a OPMT collector.

The PWII was my first OPMT (probably about 15 years ago), and it has been so good that I’ve rarely been tempted by anything else.

The Niteize Doohickey+ was an impulse buy.  I ran it on my key chain for a while, but just wasn’t getting any use out of it, so took it off.

This is the XL version of the Griffin Pocket Tool.  It is well made.  I was disappointed that (for the price of $40) the ruler markings appear to only be only surface deep, not engraved in like the PWII.  Also, this version, while more capable and versatile than the original GPT, is just too large and heavy for a key chain IMHO.

Kershaw PT-2

The edges and corners are too rounded, which probably makes it more carryable but hampers its effectiveness. IMO, a few tweaks with a Dremel would do wonders for the tool.

I've been thinking about getting one of these. It resembles the one Adam5 posted a lot.

True Utility Fish Face

I like this one. The Phillips works well. The wrench goes up to 5/16". The straight driver works okay. The same for the prybar. I do think the little razor blade will fall off if used any significant amount. But overall, I would make this part of my edc.

Here's my small collection  :-[

I don't dislike them but to be honest I've not really had the call to use them  :dunno:

This is mostly because;

1) At work I can only carry issued kit and carrying any "non-issued" tool* through airport security is fraught with danger, i.e. loss of said tool, or potentially, loss of my airside pass

*(notwithstanding I carry a Leatherman/Lockknife/Baton/'cuffs/limb restraints and lock jigglers as standard)

2) On my days off I usually have a SAK/MT (non-locking of course, being UK based  ::)) so again, no real need

However, I'm off injured for the next 7 - 10 days so, I've put my house keys on my Griffin to see if a need arises

Stay safe awl  :salute:
