Day 26

1943 Wenger Delemont Mod 08

This one has two Swiss crosses stamped over the WK mark

Opened an Amazon brown with the blade and the awl loosened a knot on some new track pants, perfect shape for the job

The Vic cutters are great use them all the time, these are a gift for a friend

DAY25
(technically speaking this is already day 26 now, but the pic is actually from day 25: a very busy day where all I could do is open this Hogue box once I came home very late in the day)

Harald looks like a SAK fan :like: :like:
He thinks it's some sort if newfangled cat toy... :ahhh

So wish Victorinox would still put a nail file on the back Phillips drivers .

I would probably switch from Team Spartan/Huntsman to Team Tinker if they did.
I'm getting to be Team No Back Tools...

Another great day, y'awl! :tu:

Day 25

Peeled and cut one of those "amazing fuzzy fruits."

Culling of the knife and multi herds in progress...

If I pay five figures for something, it better have wings or a foundation!

day 26

Model Victorinox No. 70 U - CYMA 0.800 Silver

Use the watch case opener to remove a sticker.

It worked. The tool with the soft edges is versatile. However, there is no discernible difference to the modern SAK, so no points are awarded.

Lovely knives!

Day 26

I’m up early to spend the day in London at work in the office this morning, then out for a hike along the Thames towpath in the afternoon, so better get the feeders filled! The fat blocks are vanishing at the rate of one a day at the moment (when you see the fledgling starlings at work, you’ll understand why!) so thought I’d try the awlsome awl of the M61 Elsener ‘63 on the wrapping for a change - cut through as easily as the knife. I’ll be carrying it with me in case any bottles need assistance during the walk this afternoon…. Still love the colour of these alox scales, but I can see why they dropped it from the spec. of the issued knives.

I haven't had much use for the Farmer this week and not much time to find a use for it. So, here is a pic of it sitting pretty in a tree:

I performed everybody's favorite task - using your SAK, MT, or knife to open a package containing a SAK, MT, or knife:

Model Wenger skier

Used the plastic tool to gently remove plant shoots.

It worked fine. The very soft tool has its purpose. However, it should be interchangeable/replaceable as it deteriorates quickly. Since the modern SAK don't have such soft tools, point for vintage.
