Comis hasn't been very active as of late. Hope he's well.

True Dan, I know he said in another challenge that he had some family stuff to deal with but he has been in contact and tells us he’s happy to finish the badge

Sweet!!! 18 pounds!! Whatcha cooking that big old packer on? Bet it's gonna be good!!!

Yesterday I picked up a small packer to cook for myself next weekend, but it will be pork and chicken for Memorial Day. We are doing a Graduation Celebration/Memorial Day tomorrow for my daughter and her bestie. Got 3 pork butts, 15 pounds of boneless chicken thighs, 15 pounds chicken breast, baked beans, mac-n-cheese, and slaw on the menu here.

Hope you have a good cook my friend,,,, hope to see some pictures!

The badge is getting closer guys but may not be ready quite at the end of the challenge

Jay (Explorer) has very kindly taken my design and made it badge worthy :salute: :hatsoff: thank you mate :tu:

It’s now been sent to Comis who will finish it off for us, making sure it’s the correct specs etc

As the crossbow was used by both Vic and Wenger it seemed the perfect choice plus it’s really cool IMO  8)

Hope you like it

Some nice looking pepeers.

day 28

Model Elinox Farmer

Used the saw to cut a plank of wood in half.

It worked perfectly. Nevertheless, I find the saws of a modern SAK better, more efficient and more accurate. So point for the modern SAK.

Intermediate score: 17:11
SAK saws are really nice

18 lbs of meat! That’s a proper dinner!
It got cut into three pieces, and each piece will be used for a different grilling event.

Whatcha cooking that big old packer on?
A charcoal grill, one third of it at a time. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear 'em!

DAY 28
It was the 70s Director again today. Awlso pocketed an early 80s camper just in case a saw was needed- but it wasn’t  :dunno:

Did end up using the tiny blade on the Director to cut open a Häagen-Dazs chocolate covered ice cream pop.

day 29

Model Elsener No. 234

With the screwdriver I released dandelion blossoms for further processing.

It worked well. But the modern screwdriver works even better
because it's narrower and lighter. Point for the modern SAK.
