Thanks LC.

Looks like today we have a couple of advertising tools with your DuPont and my Ford one today. I don’t normally go for the branded one, but when they are tastefully done they can be cool.

Sometimes the etched advertising pieces are bargains on the auction site.  LOGOs can be well fone and the tool may never have been utilized as it was an award or gift of sort.   I have a BOND
with Carter Lumber logo on one side and a suppliers brand on the other very well done.

Also, found that it is possible to remove laser etchings with fine grit Emory and patiences.   But I will admit some logos are very cool.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Yes indeed. I was tempted by a Micra with a Mott's logo during last year's challenge. And my Pulse has a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 logo. I took a little flak after posting my first photos of it here...apparently that wasn't one of Microsoft's better ideas.

Two great PST examples already shared today.

It is PST Tuesday, so Y E S!!!

My BO being employed to tidy up some suet cake feeders, by realigning the wire cages to lock properly.  Oh no, the photo taken did not survive compression therapy. 😱

Quick pic while I was out and about today. I just picked up this Boeing marked PST to add to the rotation. It is a 01/96, 11/95 dated tool. It is in great condition with only two scratches on the blade side.

As the holder of an A&P certificate, I find the Boeing PST very appealing! :2tu:

There may be a third. I know another member was attending an FAA-approved training program a while back.

My Dad had his A&P and inspection rating.  I knew you held one Dan, but good for you JonesE.  That's what caught my attention with your post.  My Dad had one of the original Early Winters PSTs for work.  He said he hated to have to climb out of some of the positions he had to be in to work just to get a tool.  He loved the PST.

I believe it. Passing under USS Peleliu's bridge crane was no picnic, either, even when I was 27 and in the best shape of my life.

I never worked general aviation. I worked commercial. I was a QC for five years or so I had RII authorization for a bunch of different airlines. My carry at the time was my gen. 1 wave. It went with me in more fuel tanks than I can count. I used it to remove the alcohol license from the galley and the certificates from the  cockpit when a jet arrive for heavy maintenance and other odds and ends.
