Out in the snow
on: February 02, 2009, 05:05:59 PM
Since meeting up with Mike yesterday it has continued to snow and is now deeper than I have seen it for a long time.  As I was off today, me and the kids all ventured outside and had a great time.  :)

Here are a few pics including a couple of my latest addition, my Spyderco Police, which will have more of a write up later as it is simply superb!  :tu:

Good shots.  I've not got the same amount of snow as you, but it's still coming down so there's time yet.

Great pics Ben 8) We've had roughly the same as you too but we had more a few weeks ago. Cycling in snow is fun......cycling in the slush that is left after the gritter has been round and a few hundred cars have driven through it is not :( And it's gonna be like this for the rest of the week ::) Oh well just gonna have to find a route with more snow :D :D

I am so jealous of you guys, ever since I moved to Georgia I miss the snow so bad it hurts. I lived in Vermont for all of my life before I moved here and it just isn't winter without snow. You guys don't know how lucky you are. Sure there are folks who hate to drive in it, shovel it, get stuck in it, etc. but I do miss it, more than you know.

Ditto here Highgate Springs, Vermont ( on the canadian border )and Lexington, Massachusetts ( The shot heard round the world  4/19/ 1775 )until I was 33 yoa and headed south. Don't miss the snow at all !
Why do I carry a 45 ?

I was supposed to drive 100 miles to the passport office today, to get a fast-track passport which I need for a business flight next week. it took me an hour and a half to travel 5 miles this morning, before I conceded defeat and turned back. I was fine in my landrover, but the other friggin' idiots made it impossible to even reach the motorway.

My boss is really chuffed, honest :tu:     ::)
I used to come here a lot.

After the first half dozen snowballs mittens are just hand shaped soggy sponges anyway.  I know, I have a line of little gloves right along the top of the radiator at the moment :D
