Most of love Morakniv knives, I am no different.  I realized I have a few from other well know makers from Mora Sweden.

Even though my Izula II has stolen the spotlight when it comes to fixed blades, I still like my Garberg quite a bit.

Thank you.

I really like these style knives.  They can do so much which is why they have stood the test of time.  I can see how the Izula has stolen time away other fixed blades.  Same happened to me when I got mine.

In fairness, I don't (yet) have many fixed blades for it to steal time away from...just the the Garberg and a Schrade SCHF50 (I think) push dagger. Every other fixie in my house resides permanently in the kitchen.

A nice assortment of Mora makers!

I only have 1 with a WOODEN handle, and I you like the way it handles. In fact it gets used in the kitchen for slicing beef into cubes for stew, trimming up a roast or steak of excess fat and tendons, slicing a rib rack to size to fit in oven pans.  Always cuts straight and clean😁

My other Moras are designed as work knives and I did use when I worked construction.  Took abuse and economical to replace.
A HD Companion has hunted and camped, and it worked awl tasks.

Finns do nice blades too!  I still have my Rapala 6” from 55 years ago tucked in my tackle box😉
