Out of the three in that series (Blast, Fuse and Kick) the Blast is my favorite!  The Kick is nice, but a lot of space for not too many tools, the Fuse is ok, but the middle one in a series is never as good as the start and finish (watch The Two Towers again if you don't believe me!) and the Blast is both light and well equipped!

Good grab Sean :tu: The Blast is a great tool.

By the way, what sheath did you get, nylon or cardboardian leather?
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Thanks guys.  Yes I was lucky enough and was awarded  "cardboardian leather" :-\

It's new so will see how it works out but I really like it so far.  It's light and it has a really nice array of tools.
It's tight and locks up solid.  I really like the "Chunky" look and size of it as well.

I'll just have to go hunting for an Original Leather Sheath or perhaps something made of Nylon to house it.
It deserves better!

I like the Blast , it has alot of tools packed in it . The only thing I don't like is the mini bit holder , It doesn't fit the screws on my glasses like the little Vic one does .

Yup I just got a Blast as well and I really like it.  It has all the components that I think of as being "Multitool standards" it what is still a reasonably compact unit.  :)

Unfortunately LM doesn't offer the small bits on their own.  This bit set is the cheapest way to get them.

Normally it would be high since we ship everything Priority Mail International but for just these bits I should be able to drop them in an envelope and mail them regular parcel post.  I'll need to weigh them when I get to the store on Monday but I'd guess it should be around $5 or so for shipping.

The head on those are too obtuse and thick, must be 40°. Doesn't fit my glasses either so almost useless. I wonder if I were to sharpen them would they work.

I just picked up a Blast as part of a combo deal at Costco this past weekend. I bought it for the light - basically a Fenix L1T- but I'm very impressed with the Blast. So much so, that I've been carrying it instead of my Charge since Saturday. Knowing me, I'll probably go back to the Charge eventually, but so far I haven't felt under tooled with Blast.

A quick and dirty pick of the two. The combo also came with a nylon sheath.

Just got a chance to use the saw a couple of times the other day on the blast.  I'd forgotten how well they work on live branches.
