The Leatherman Squirt 15 Day Challenge

Since the dawn of time, nobody has ever done a 15 day Squirt challenge here at MTO. With rumors of its discontinuation, what better way to pay a tribute than to take part in a challenge?

I do not have a vintage SAK, so I was thinking May 1st since this is just a quick one. But if there is actually an interest in joining I am sure we can work out a suitable date. :tu:

Merit Badges Carry an orange item and post a picture of it everyday for 30 days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. I might carry one just for this :think: I won't carry it as my only tool but I will put pics daily. I won't go for the badge, just be along for support :cheers:

Merit Badges Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Must update or add a page on the Multitool.org Multitool Encyclopedia Carry an orange item and post a picture of it everyday for 30 days. Start a thread with a photo of at least ten OPT's in your collection Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Leatherman Pulse or ST200 and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the Leatherman MiniTool for thirty (30) consecutive days. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) In the spirit of the Batman utility belt. A 30 day challenge were you have to have at least 2 things clipped to your belt (preferably more). Start a thread and post a picture of your clipped gear each day for 30 days. I’m going to try to do this, but I’ll have to start a few days into the month.

I’m flying out to Bulgaria on Sunday 30th April and only taking hand luggage, so no Leatherman, then driving back to the UK. Should be back on 4th May, then I’ll break out one of these two.

 

The silver one is my second-oldest Leatherman, after my PST, while the blue is one of my newest, ordered direct from Leatherman HK in January.

But I don't think I can do 30 days of the Stack, do 15 days for the Squirt, and come back to another 30 for the Stack badge. And I'm already a month in for the Stack badge. If I do the Squirt challenge for May, I'll have to start over from scratch for the 60 day Stack challenge.

As many of you may know, the PS4 is now sadly and inexplicably discontinued.  Let this Challenge be a fitting requiem to the memory of arguably the finest mini MT ever made.

Farewell, PS4, king of the mini MTs, whose long and faithful friendship those who knew you won't forget!
