Dear fellow Opinel users,
Just posting to say I'm not able to finish the challenge. This week was just too crazy at work and home and I had to devote my energy elsewhere. I'm still carrying the Opinels this month for the fun of it, but I fell back on taking, much less posting the pictures. Sorry for bailing out mid-way. i'll try to catch up next year.
Just to show you, the last picture I was "able" to take was a full week ago. It's quite unique and very specific, as I used the knife to prepare Sunday services at church, so I'm still posting it.  :D

I don't think I've posted my OD12 yet. I'll echo the earlier theories that this is kind of an odd knife to carry, especially with that handle ratio. I do like the cutting hook. It's a decent package opener/blade saver. Overall, I think this is the knife you throw in the bottom of a bag, truck box, etc. It's beefy enough to do Stupid Things In The Woods (tm), and the extras are nice, but if I just want to carry a big knife it's not my first choice.
