Another zipper replacement. Removed two heavily corroded heads, installed a fresh one. Gonna patch it up and we're in business.

A Pocket Check today :salute:

(Image removed from quote.)

The orange sure is faded looking on the screwdriver handle compared to the G10 on the LM :o :ahhh

I have the same issue with the Hogue MiniRSK MK1-G2 that has a "pale" orange shade compared to more punchy ones

If zippers are dead like that, the overall build quality can't be that good?
Is it really worth the time and effort? (I mean, I like to repair things so that can be worth just for the fun of doing it)

The teeth are fine. The heads were corroded around a few teeth, but the teeth cleaned up nicely and there is nothing wrong with them. It is a quick fix, it is fun, cost nothing, and now the zipper works.

These are only good reasons, I once replaced/sewed a whole zipper on a old bag made of sail fabric.
Old zipper was super bad, I gave it a YKK one instead

Day 14 of 30

2 weeks in now :o :woohoo: :like:

I saw m47s pic of his Fiskar scissors and it made.me think of these oldies that I have in a drawer at my computer desk  :salute: My mother had a pair of these (still has them I am sure) that I use to play with as a kid  my favorite scissors that I used growing up and when I found these at a yard sale type thing, I had to have them

I sharpened them some when I first got them and they have worked great ever since  8) :like:

Day 14

Harald checked out a newly arrived Svord Peasant. "It's cool, but It's dang near as big as I am. You should've gotten the Mini Peasant!"

Day 14
No new pic, if I didn't leave work I'd still be there. Carried the Armbar along with my other gear, I feel I'm carrying this more due to the pocket clip and it makes it easier to get along with the other stuff I'm carrying.

Day 15
Been a long day at work preparing for inventory, not much physical work but numbers and junk. Carried the Ness today for a companion.
