Day 3Used the spear point model today.A bit of screwdriver work to replace smoke detectors. We had the fancy nest ones but they don’t connect anymore and it’s constant searching drains the battery. So, back to the basic ones. [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ] And an apple snack. Quite amazing you could keep tap like that, I use the tool sparingly thru out the day and could never seem to remember to snap a photo during use.
Thanks, Comis. It’s not likely to be a complete list and I really only remember if I can get a photo. After MrTJ’s and your comments I remembered this morning that yesterday I cut out a couple of roots from some invasive vine on our giant maple. Forgot all about it. That’s the great thing about having the spirit I can just take care of whatever task straightaway without thinking about it.
Oh man, I completely forgot. But I’ll start this challenge today as my 36th new year starts Not sure I’ll make it - quite a lot of things going on at work, but I’ll try. Day 1(Image removed from quote.)
Day 4: Used the wire stripper to cut a small sapling from our maple tree. It worked, but I'll use the saw next time.
Happy birthday i_s Ingenious
Never left my pocket. Emails and meetings.
Really, remained in pocket the entire day without fiddle itch just practice🤪
Day 4Switched to the MXBS today. Had to try and repair a stuck door knobs mechanism. Used the Phillips and both flat drivers to take the old parts off and clean with WD40. While it is better, it still is not perfect and I think I am going to need to buy a new one. Will see over the next day or so if it improves with WD40 soaking in more. If not will be more pics and maybe a different variant in use with a replacement. The Spirit did a great job with all aspects of this repair/attempted repair.
Day 4The MX Clip helped with prepping veggies for a batch of chili, but most of the work was done by my Victorinox chef's knife.(Image removed from quote.)
As a knife enthusiast, I am definitely way behind the curve in terms of culinary tools. I don't mind repairing all the chips/warp/dent for all the kitchen knives, but over the years, I definitely spend only very little on culinary knives. Knowing Vic steel, I bet they made great kitchen knives.
