I think this white bone Stockman speaks for itself. I'm not sure if this was a limited/discontinued color that I haven't seen elsewhere, or a screwed up amber bone (happy for any info y'awl can provide), but it's a looker either way.

See Here: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/knife_forum/viewtopic.php?t=66015

If your tang stamp is from 2002 (attached), you can confirm that this is a 2002 6318 from the Pocket Worn series in "natural" bone color.

Day 25

What time is it?

Well, I believe it’s cigar-thirty.
I have come here to smoke cigars and admire some knives, and I'm all out of cigars.

I spent some time at the workbench putting edges on my new #47 more worthy of the blade etch...
My '78 6254 has the same etch. Hopefully it's awlso worthy.

So for first time in 2* years I am excused from treatments and follow ups for at least 6 months.
Great news!

Prep day for a colonoscopy tomorrow so not much going on today  ;)

I had to go in for prep today as well.
Hope the procedures go well for y'awl!

Yet another great day! :tu:

Day 26

Running late (due to drowsiness), so just a quick shot of a burnt gray bone 6207.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
USN 2000-2006

Culling of the knife and multi herds in progress...

If I pay five figures for something, it better have wings or a foundation!

You're spoiling him  :D
Of course!  Although to be fair the extra treats are for what is going to be a stressful week for him (lots of hours of car travel, strange places, and visiting people and some of dogs).

Day 26

And old friend, a Yellow CV Sod Buster!

And a newer Caribbean Blue that joined me in February after…
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Completing 39 radiation treatments.

Today was followup day🙄🫣

The results are, no signs, undetectable, PSA result <0.1

Plus an MRI also revealed another tumor is benign, and it is not expending☺️
So for first time in 2* years I am excused from treatments and follow ups for at least 6 months.

Thank you each for the good thoughts, encouragement and support.  I feel so humble and undeserving. 🥲🥹🥲

What is the model number of that beautiful stockman.  I would testify, it is FURST time ever seeing such a example   (tongue in the way )

That is a handsome knife!  :like:

:hatsoff: Thank you for the likes!

It's indeed is the 63046 SS chestnut bone Humpback Stockman.

I got it near ten years ago when I first started collecting Traditionals, and that's some enabling from Steve, David, Dean....  :D

Day 27

Sun in full ON position, rising in the East, and rays sneaking in below the smoke haze after the rains last evening.

Snuck a leisure walk in cool air and could not resist a photo of 3 smaller trads that had pocket duty…

Looks like it's a 2000, not a 2002, but the color matches and they did use that color in 2000. Really thought I Googled whatever combinations of pocket worn and bone I'd have needed, but that's why we have the brain trust. Thanks for the ID assist.

Day 27
These string cheese are the biggest pain in the butt. You are supposed to be able to pull the wrapper apart, but this whole package had every one of them completely sealed. My kids love string cheese, but we have had to cut them open each time. The green Copperhead liberated this one from its plastic prison for my little boy.

Most of the day will be spent in the car traveling, so I figured I'd get a post in. Will update later if something more exciting arises.

Day 27.

So, for the first time in this Case challenge I've carried the same knife for two days in a row.  I could claim that it's because it's a fantastic trad (and it is) but I have to admit that I just forgot to pick up a different one this morning.   :D

I had to go in for prep today as well. They are going in to burn/abandon the Great Saphenous Vein in my left leg tomorrow. As I understand it, this procedure is being done in an effort to force/increase blood circulation in that leg through secondary veins. Hopefully it works, cause a bum leg makes it awful hard to stay young and mobile,,, and purty!!

Good luck tomorrow Steve!!
Good luck!
