Day 29

It was a valiant effort but was unable to finish the challenge……

Without buying a new knife.

GEC was offered at a good price so what’s a guy to do?

My first.

Day 29 of 30
Case Muskrat

My daughter wanted peanut butter cupcakes for her birthday today. Her momma did a fine job making them.

Day 29

I don't think I've ever made it this late in a challenge without an apple slicing pic! 47 performed admirably, as expected. Looking out the front of the camper.

Cool knife  :tu:

Just one for now.

What a well made knife. The snap and half stop makes me happy.

Blade shape is great also.

Best looking stag of any knife I have seen.

:ahhh DAY 30!  :ahhh

It's been a great 30 days of nothing but Case and I've managed to restrain myself to only buying two new knifes for it.  Far, far too many fantastic photos of equally fantastic knife for me to name individually, but please believe me when I say I've looked and and enjoyed them all.
:hatsoff:

On my final day I thought it fitting that I actually remember to take a pic or two of me actually using my Case Stag-bone SS Wharncliffe Mini Trapper, rather than forgetting all about it until too late.

Lunch of champions; cheese on toast with a few dashes of Henderson's; Sheffield's tasty alternative to Worcestershire Sauce.  A touch of something made in Sheffield seems appropriate for my last day of carrying American made knives (for a wee while anyway  ;) )
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Congratulations to everyone who completed a badge in this challenge.  I think Dean would have really enjoyed this.  It's always a good time and fun to carry a traditional for 30 days again!

Day 30: Just a fun pic.  My No. 12 and No. 8.

I do love my No.12 (my first ever Opinel, bought on holiday in a French market).  If people have only tried a No. 8 they'll almost certainly be surprise by what a big old boy the 12 is.  I must admit though that I think the No.10 is my favourite size.

It's a toss up for me between the 9 and 10 Gareth.  They fit my hand better than the 8.  I love showing people the 12... it's like a small sword

Day 30

CASE Badge

Just realized this is last day, was so excited seeing the Sun and temp was below 80 degrees F early this morning, I grabbed a knife, slipped in the pocket and with walking stick went for a walk.  And, no smoke in the air either, sky is blue.

Now, enjoying a coffee, watching birds, including hummers on back patio.  With a murdrr of crows pestering RedTail Hawk that is hiding in my Crimson King Maple😏

Your 12 and 8 picture is like a comparison of my 8 to my 6.

There is a lot more blade on your 12. 😎

Exactly.  For me the No.10 fills the hand much better and is a knife I could use all day.  On the other hand the No.8 is a lot easier to pocket carry.  :D
