Good news, I got the ARC in and Volty Switch Update Fits.

The ARC is also a fantastic tool, it will be my new daily.

I'm seeing lots of QC complaints about the ARC on that one website everyone loves to hate, I've been carrying mine everyday. Happy to say after driving mine for 1 week, I have no complaints.

The holes for the belt clip on the other side looked rather lonely, so here's a small flashlight prototype I made on the laser cutter: dual LED so if can also illuminate the screwdriver end too.

Will be in line to buy the torch when it drops :gimme:
Very concerning regards the obvious lack of a qc for this tools launch. Absolute disgrace that tools are being shipped the way they are, very damaging to the brand imo.

Since I got the ZapWizard's Garage #5 Ratchet Sheath, went ahead and ordered the Switch to carry on the sheath's side. Seems like a clever gadget with a rechargeable battery on board.

How is this powered? Am assuming like the newer Volty version with the battery?

What is a good way of charging that itty bitty Volty battery? Mine arrived yesterday. Not done much other than testing some 18650 batteries. Thought they would of been more powerful that 4.1 volts. Use them in Sofern & RovyVon flashlights.

The bit was tight for my older Charge TTi (version 1.0). Have not used in the 40th Anv G#5 yet. This is supposed to fit in ZapWizard's Garage #5 holster, probably without the rubber shroud?

Oh, and the manual gets slightly confusing on switching to different mode. When it says to reboot, how exactly is that done??

Hmm. Did not know there was a switch.  :D

Had carried the Volty+ in a bit slot on a Zap Wizard sheath up until I went to get it and it was missing. Later I ordered another Volty+ and tried the keychain carry, but I carry too many keys and lost the plastic cover. Anymore I carry the Volty+ inside the Garage #5 bit slot, but that leaves me without a philips/standard bit. 🤔 What to do...

Wonder if there is a way to carry the Volty+ inside the seath side with a slim vertically stored bit card of some sort. Not seen one anywhere online.

Anyhow, the Volty+ fits right into the Garage #5 bit slot perfectly. Slides right in behind the L keeper.

PS: Did find the first Volty+ and gave it to Kip on the TOT (Trikes on Tour) rally in Kellogg Idaho. Had a feeling  he might find it useful. Did not really need two of these gadgets, so why not pass it on?  :D
