Spent the greater part of my day sorting out my in-laws' network issues but I finally had some time this evening this sharpen another SAK with the aid of my trusty MC.

     I scratched up a photo of MiniChamp opening the wraps on a turkey.  Weak, right?  Leftover turkey photo.  Not turkey leftovers.... leftover photo, you know what I mean. 
      Are those your 3D printed scales, Aztec?  You haven't made much of a fuss over them.  I would have done three posts and a poll about them if they were mine.  Maybe you are just sore from all the carpentry work.  Best wishes.  G

They are. I've been waiting to daily my Ranger with these scales after the Minichamp challenge. They were a bear to press on even with the vice. This tells me that my settings are off on my 3D printer. I've made some changes and I'm waiting to reprint after I get home. I think I'll do a separate post on them to document the small issues I've run into and to discuss how they hold up to daily wear and tear.

Those 3D yellows look great from what I can see.  Instead of a vise, I usually use cardboard for padding and use a small C-clamp.  I can press directly onto the post without putting any pressure on the rest of the scale.  Best wishes.  G
