Day 4

My youngest daughter’s birthday  🎂

After appointments, arrived and found two packages on the porch and a 3rd in the mail box.

OHT, opening duty, implemented test of which blade can do what.

The Resue Tool, box opening, slicing reinforced tape.
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Debris gathered in the notch, prevented the blade from completing the assignment.

PE edge, completed the box and opened envelope 1.
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]
Then envelope 2
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

The SE stepped up and cut cardboard box to size for the recycle bin.
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

One tool, 3 implements for the win😎🖖🏿

Happy Birthday, Miss Cutter 🎈 🎂 🎉🎈

Very cool!  Is that a type of glass or a video display?
Video display.  Video can go to my phone when I'm in the grocery store.  Only drawback is you only see that much of the inside.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Day 4

Find the OHT in the Fridge.
My dad would have loved this refrigerator because you can view what's inside before opening the door.

VlasOHT ?

...cool fridge  :D

What about the small flat ?   :pok:
I ran out of packages  :dunno:

The three I demonstrated with did not have just tape, reinforced, and glue sealed envelopes (tamper resistant)

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Hey all you OHT users, can I butt in on your party to ask a question?

I’ve never seen an actual OHT. I’ve been using a Wave and various 4” & smaller Leatherman tools for years.

I’ve been thinking that a tool with burlier pliers would be really handy sometimes. And I like the one-hand-opening idea. Are the OHT pliers as big and tough as the Surge?

Thanks for any info you might provide!

Sorry Darryl I can't help you with that one but someone will be able to hear soon.

Day 5: Used the can opener to pull a nail out of a piece of trim.

Nope🤨.

In fact  the  blades ,  and saw are shorter than many of the LM 4” BB implements.

Here is photo next to a Rebar and PST. The pliers are a tad longer but not beefier than the Rebar.

Day 5

Operation lid removal, success!  :salute:
I am going to try to use each tool during this challenge as suggested by the OP in post #1.  So far I've used the plain edge blade and pliers.

Not in this one (it's one of my least favourite MTs) just showing some support  :salute:
Here's my OHT posing with the contents of a stocking for Mrs Surge  :twak: on the eve of the Befana (which she will enjoy tomorrow morning whilst I'm slaving away at work  ::))

Hello day 5
I work from the home office mostly and built a rather large desk.
Today was a bit of a tidy up day and the OHT found a few friends lurking amongst the paperwork.
