That's a nice Slimline Opinel Gordon!

Day 23: Pulled the heater grate to retrieve something that fell in.

Day 23

Used the strap cutter again to cut off a zip tie from a Nintendo Switch case.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Good use😉.  I find the SE blade slices nicely through the zip ties.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 23

Changing the batteries in one of my wife's knickknacks.  I normally use the Leatherman micro driver for this, but I was just able to make the OHT work - the Phillips was too large, but I managed to get it open with the small screwdriver (with much difficulty).   :ahhh

Hello to Day 23
A bit  old school. Got my Landy registration renewal in the post so there was letter to be opened.
Easy with a sharp blade.

Nice pic!   I miss big ol' Mag-lites like that.  They felt like they could be used as a defensive weapon in a crunch.   :like:

Thanks, I agree. This is a 3x D-cell and it is a little heavy.

What a great way of to relax than fidget with your OHT and sip a  beverage, a cold, cold one!

Why LM TG never introduced a OHT in a bright color as your scissors just baffles me😁

Nice picture!
Symbolism!   A MT no longer in production, yet useful!! Stuck in a tree, that had  its bark stripped away, yet it stands and provides  a future of warmth in a future bond fire, or a feast for insects. 😎

Day 24

Used the back of the wood saw as a ferro rod scraper.  Worked great!

Day 24

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

My duo today,  the Wharncliff blade was/is handy for some fine edge trimming that the OHT could not handle do to its bulk and my XXL size hands.
Plus, I should have trimmed it before remounting onto the wall…

An  AMAZING PHOTO !!!

Very nice  and a very good use of the implement.

Any of the tools on the OHT may work for this purpose, except the can opener, not as easily.

***** Best in use action photo to date *****
