Reamer/Awl Sharpening Jig
on: October 02, 2023, 07:42:04 PM
Hey fellow SAK nerds,

I made a cool 3D printable model today and I thought I'd share it. It's a reamer/awl sharpening jig for the 91mm and Ranger Grip series (might work for the 111mm slidelocks too). It helps you maintain the factory curved blade edge at 50°.
The model can be downloaded here:  https://www.printables.com/model/601019-91mm-swiss-army-knife-reamerawl-sharpening-jig

What do you all think?

Very neat jig.  I have sharpened awls through the years but had to do it freehand.  You might like to visit the New Member's section of this site and introduce yourself.  Tell what you feel comfortable saying about yourself.  Get to know everybody a little.  We are a friendly bunch here.  Nice photos too.  Best wishes.  Gary (IMR)
