I caught a used ARC early on, grabbed what I wanted and sold off the rest.  Cost me about $60 to make the upgrade.

The club is growing...

It’s actually a bit of a revelation after older tools
and I like it a lot. It has no mechanical issues  :multi:
Edit: when I say no mechanical issues, I’m obliged to mention the scissors and can opener could be better ☹️

Mine is still hard to grasp with the clip left on, from the original sheath. It's a tight fit and nothing to get a hold of.

I first made this little dangle, which worked perfect.

Then, I got fancy and made this one. But this one is more in the way when using the pliers, so I'm going to have to go back to the first one, or something like it.

I have been off for a bit with surgery,  so I haven't really had much of a chance to use it yet  otherwise it is great  everything seems to be in working order :tu:

The cutter gap, as discussed above by a few different peeps is just a bit of an aggravation  :D

You could be the first person to remove your stitches or staples with an ARC.  Just sayin'.   :tu:

Following the lead of Commander Poncho, I bought a LNIB ARC on the secondary market (MTO) from His Highness and Lordship sir_mike.  But as I am in the midst of the Gerber Center Drive Challenge, I am leaving the ARC in the box and will have it to look forward to on March 1.

Swapped out some rotten pickets yesterday. I was using T-25's in the drill but bumped into some old T-20's from a previous repair. No problem, I have a T-20 on me.....

Well, the can opener works really well when I pull backwards with it, rather than trying to push forwards if that makes sense!? So I apologise for spreading misinformation.

Really sorry to hear about the issues.  I am sure LM will take care of you.  As to the shipping?  Maybe ask for a prepaid label?  Cant hurt to ask  :dunno:

As to the cutters not being able to cut coat hanger.  I have a few sizes of coat hanger.  I just recently cut a thiner one to use in my yard.  I have cut thicker as well.

I know this is a ARC thread but my Swisstool has never had an issue with coat hanger thick or thin

Not hating or trying to start a riot  :hatsoff:
My Arc cuts coat hanger as easily as my Swisstool

The can opener is the largest let-down on the whole tool. Now, if Leatherman's engineers would of given the tool a longer reach (there is room) it would of had much more maneuverability to hold onto the edge of a can lip. As it is the cuts are stupid and not fluidly fast compared to Swiss tool.

Going to shape a Swiss tool's can opener to fit into the large bit holder. Would rather replace the Arc/G5 can opener with a Swiss Tool version can opener.

Ya know, I haven't even tried my can opener yet.

I'm putting some baby back ribs on the Traeger in a few hours, so when I get a chance today, I'm going to try mine. I always thought of multitool can openers for emergency situations and rarely use them around the house.

Works well on mine, just make sure you pull back and don’t push forwards with it.

I know it’s a P4 but it’s the same can opener.
