DAY 13  :salute:

no uses for the director but the Ranger wood also accompanied bella and i on our walk after dark just in case we ran into any hungry coyotes.

DAY 13  I got so busy last night that I forgot to post this.  For a change of pace, opening a Walmart box instead of Amazon.

DAY 14  This morning I wrapped a package for the company Xmas party.  I'm calling this a failure.  The Exec easily cuts paper, but it takes forever.  You need patience in general, and for company Xmas parties specifically, which I do not have.  I switched to some shears and they zipped through the job.

Day 13:
I snapped a quick picture before I caught up on some journaling and forgot to post this yesterday. My wife had texted me that our 7yo daughter was running a temp, and her belly didn't feel well. I got my Para lined out with my class, and off I went to pick her up from school. We napped on the couch all afternoon. Hopefully, she feels better when she wakes up and the rest of us don't get it. We have our annual family trip to go on the Santa Cruise in Coeur d'Alene this weekend.

Day 14:
It's hard to believe December is already almost halfway over. I've got the Lochby pocket journal along today. Filed my nails after flipping them, but that's all I've used my Executive and no pictures of it.

Well, today it the last day that I'll be having by myself (basically).  The Boss Lady will leave her desk for the last time.
I met her shortly after she started her first job working next to the store that I was the assistant manager for, back in 1978.  I'd say that after some 45 odd years it's time to step back and relax some.

So, here I am, with Patch, opening up a pack of Chinese blocks that's supposed to build an angler fish. For the build on mug.

DAY 16  Getting ready for our pre-Christmas "not a tropical storm but it will feel like one" today.  Which is why I only put up interior decorations early.  Here's the Exec with a few santons.

The Boss Lady and I have taken my sidekick out to see Santa, twice, in the past week.  First time it was intentional.  Second time he was at a restaurant that we went to.
I'm counting on the jolly old elf to be telepathic.

Playing catch up after traveling yesterday.
Day 15:
I'm always having to cut the staws off of my kids' drinks when we go out to eat. They get little bitty cups and big ole straws they can't reach

I had to get up to date on the challenge posts here.  Some really GREAT photos.  Congrats to all. Fireman is doing a great job with this series.  Only a few that upset me a little.  The ones with Claxton fruit cake.  I love the stuff but had forgotten about it.  Now I will have to go buy one.  Doggone it.  Best wishes.  G

Day 16:
One kid is on the mend, but the other two have caught whatever bug it is. Nasty snotty noses, coughs, and fever. We've been holed up in our hotel room all day other than a run to pick up food and medicine. This evening, they felt well enough to go on the Santa Cruise. They all had their names read off of the nice list, so they were happy and can rest easy tonight

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.

At least around here, Christmas brings out the rain and it's been raining all day.

I think I'm gonna just stay inside today.

DAY 17  I used the orange peeler to cut some blister packs without cutting myself.  :tu:  At thetop of the cut package you might be able to see the ripple cut from the slicer.

Whew! Finally caught up again.

I hung some Christmas lights today. They've been in the attic for so long that I checked the fuses in the plugs to make sure they were still good.
