I'm looking at picking up a blunt nose too Antti.  I'm a fan of the solid cutters, although I've had decent luck with mine.

Solid cutters are good but few times i allmost ruined cutters cause material was bit too thick to cut (own fault not to check it first)

Thanks FB!  Vicman, my second multitool was an Army issued Power Loc.  It's a great tool!  Unfortunately, I put it in the center console of my car, from where it dropped into my trash bag and I didn't catch it   I think my next purchase is going to be another Power Loc!
Great pic by the way!

IIRC,  When I first joined MTo and started as learning about multi-tools, the Gerber models were popular because of the price point and the novelty of the head sliding in and out of the handle.  The needle nose extending out of the handle annoyed some and they ground the plier heads shorter to bring the plier flush with the handle.
That was my impression!
It made no sense to me then, and still does not, with the exception it does provide a better grip if attempting to turn a nut top down.
The replaceable, carbide inserts are designed for other tools, the MP line adapted, yet I see it as a fail on Gerber’s part, cutting corners.

Visits to this challenge, reconfirms my feelings and impressions that the MP600 models just did not suit my needs then and still today.

A great tool for those that have and adapted to using it, and I will not belittle it for its loyal followers, just saying…

So a posing photo with a new soda I'm trying called Catus Cooler.

Bonus Entry.  A new-to-me but used DJI Drone arrived today.  Going to use it as a back-up in case something happens to my other drone.

LC, I was trying to find Tropical 7Up, but some stores don't carry it.  I highly recommend it.
The full sugar one, the diet one isn't as good.

Thank you Vicman!

It is a KROGER exclusive I was told. Had in stores before Thanksgiving. If you blinked you missed out. I bought  one of each.  I am type 2 and tried the zero sugar   I think two cans remain, it was first thing every body would grab on visits.
Normally, Orange Vanilla Seltzer water and Grape are my go evening snack beverages.  (Waterloo brand)

I do appreciate the tip 😉

Day 11

I think my wife would be mortified if she knew I was posting this photo. The chain kept popping off of the flush lever. So, I used the MP600 to tighten the clip to the lever. Other than that, no real action for the Gerber today.
