at a shoot today I used the screwdriver tip again to loosen a large flathead screw and even though the SD tip was much smaller than the screw slot it actually worked well to loosen the screw on my mini tripod. :tu: :tu:

great stuff from everyone!  :salute:   :salute:

Day 27

Nothing to report today.  Too busy with family and friends coming into town for my little girl's 8yr birthday party.  Here's an unglamorous shot instead.

Another rainy night.  It seems that this latest cell phone takes pretty good photos in the dark outside.  Bijou and a foggy early morning.  Looks light in the photo, but I assure you it would be easy to trip over a plundering raccoon or maybe a deer without seeing it.
It seems like challenge burnout happens in the last week of a 30 day sentence.  I'm feeling it a little.  I wish I had some Cream of Wheat like one of our members opened yesterday.  Might settle for something else.  Best wishes.  G

Congratulations on your 100th post, Graham.  No party.  No parade.  Someone will come by later with the bucket of leeches for the ceremony.  What?....... no leeches anymore?.... when did that happen?  Well it appears we don't do leeches now.  Can't have any fun.  You are a full member anyway.  Best wishes  Gary

I think this requires a kitty picture.

Had to do some horticultural surgery to our plumeria.  I thought I had covered it well enough but I should've just brought it into the garage.

I'm assuming that a plumeria is like a hamster, right?  It seems rather brave to do surgery on the little critter with a Classic, but I guess it was an emergency.  Too bad it didn't pull through.  At least you gave it a decent burial in that flower pot thingie.
I made a photo of blue Classic swinging on a grape vine.  One of the neighbors asked what kind of grapes those were on my place.  I said 'fox grapes'.  Then he said they were 'possum grapes' cuz those were bigger.  If he knew already, why did he ask me?  Anyway, Classic is swinging on a 'fox and/or possum' grape vine.  Might be a muscadine.  Might not even be a grape vine.  Hard to tell in the winter.  Could be Virginia creeper or poison ivy.  Best wishes.  G

I'd been meaning to ask, but Explorer answered with the definitive answer since this is his show.  The challenge ends on January 30 with the last post on that day.  Not the 31st.  Right?
The other question is whether there might not be another award presentation this time.  Like the MiniChamp.  I would like to nominate friend Aztec for 'most likely to perform surgery with a SAK' and friend Gra for 'most likely to break a Bijou' or 'best breakfast' or something.  Just sayin.
Best wishes.  G

PS This venture was fun.  I knew it would be when I saw Explorer was the program director.  The guys all made great posts and pictures.  I enjoyed them a lot.  Also the friends cheering from the sidelines.  G

Day 28:
Playing catch up. Momma was feeling quite a bit better yesterday, so she put me to work organizing all of our kids' old clothes in storage. They have been packed away in a million little boxes, but she bought some big bags that use a vacuum to suck out all the air and compact them. Now we have to figure out how to store the giant bags... Little man helped me burn all of the boxes before dinner and spent the rest of the evening getting ready for the work week. Had these 3 in my pocket all weekend. Used the Classic for nail duty, snipping tags off of a new gymnastics suit for my daughter, and peeling oranges

I need to post a pet photo, too.  First, I might as well show the entire cast for my piddly contribution to this challenge.  Two Bijoux and two Classics.  One a little pocket linty.
By the way, the wee furry pet is named Jay-Lo.  Enjoying what is left of my rice and chicken dinner after the racko visitors.  Best wishes.  G
