Mine too (Victorinox/Swiss Made/Stainless)... As a side not, I'd heard that SwissArmy (the US distributor of Victorinox) are actually producing (some of) the Vic SAKs/MTs for the US market. I haven't managed to verify it though... :think:

Mine says the same thing on the peanut butter spreader  :D got it a few months ago.

That's quite probably just FUD. Yet, it could well account for the price difference between the european and american Vic stuff...  :think:

I remember that being said over on SOSAK a while back.  I believe it was dismissed as just a rumour.
