I can see the Center Drive or Dual Force being the primary tool for a real workin' man who needs grabby and cutty tools on his belt.  For the rest of us, who do manly things like opening Amazon boxes and removing splinters, the plier head is more of a "just in case" EDC tool.  I still like to have an MT-based plier or Knipex with me, in addition to an Explorer Plus and maybe an Opinel.  Plus all of my other toys.  The rare occasions when a plier-based MT can make life easier or save the day makes it - for me - generally worth carrying.

 :salute:

:iagree: Yesterday because I was out and about I couldn't carry either the DF or SD (locking blades)

However, I did carry my LM Style CS (UK friendly) and used the tweezers for splinter removal as well  :salute:

Day 15

Carrying the king today! I feel the DF is like carrying the Surge. I'm sure I'll get hate for that

We have a store being reset today. It's good to have a pair of strong pliers to bend shelving into shape so they fit the shelves.

Powernoodle Day 15

I'm carrying the Dual Force on my belt today for the first time.  She's a beef cadet, for sure.

Day 15 of 30

Halfway on challenge, today no usage. I founded my spare pouches, IMHO Centerdrice has best horizontal carry ever made.

Oldest pouch is around 5 years (maybe older) and after velcro weared off changed it to buckle. All my plier based MTs have been carried in this, this pouch is just fit for all and is really comfort to carry.

Off out tonight with Mrs Surge for a Valentine's day dinner so no carry (again)

Instead here's the SD with the obligatory "dozen red"  ;)

WDT '24 Day 15
Yes, it's that time of year again.  The leaves are starting to fall and soon we'll have our week or so of cold weather when it may get down to the 40's overnight and I'll have to wear a jacket over my shorts until about 9 or 10 am when it warms up.

Wohoo just received notification that i might get suprise for this challenge, i just hope it arrives before challenge is over.
Also for Barry i would give you something after this challenge just for making this challenge possible .

I would like to give my mods for you, Saw and PST2 diamond file. If i correctly remember you said those would make your Centerdrive perfect.

Powernoodle Day 16

I used the Center Drive to open a cheapy MT from Amazon.  From time to time, and to feed the beast, I'll find a cheap, Chinese MT on Amazon which usually are surprisingly good for the money.  This one, after 25% off, was around $14 shipped.

Just because you can afford the good stuff, it doesn't mean you should brag about it.   :twak:
