Inception...

Well played, sir.   :salute: :salute: :salute:

Here are my notes about Inception -

Powernoodle Day 22

Armbar Slim found a Screwpop utility knife in the junk drawer.  I EDC one of these as they are so dagnab useful.  But its nice to have a spare.

After all of these years, I finally figured out why they call it a Screwpop.

Day 21

We were able to get the first coat of paint on my son’s room last night after work. By the time painting was wrapping up and dinner was in progress, I forgot to post a pick. Tonight’s plan is to get the final color coat on. I think we will order pizza tonight.

My son chose black for the wall and ceiling with white trim.

I think this T4 is pretty sweet, feels like a P2 without the pliers.

I had one for awhile myself and liked it.  I wouldn't mind picking up another one soon.  It's a tough, handy pocket carry.

I've had a Free T4 (Lunar, whatever color that is) in my Amazon wish list for some time, and your pic pushed me over the edge.

It arrives tomorrow.     :ahhh

Day 22

Not a lot of use for the CD today. Did use it to open paint cans. Had to go get another gallon can of black paint after work. For some reason trying to get the paint to cover consistently has been hard. Lots of shines spots and dry dull spots.

On my OPINEL project, the polyurethane I applied will not kick off. Ended up sanding the gummy mess off this afternoon. I then mixed up some BLO with some mineral spirits and have started applying it to the knife. It will stink to really bad for a while, but I know it will turn out good. It will just take a while.

It's a tough time to paint anything, with the cool air and dampness.

That pic of Surge's got me too

Day 22

I used my Gerber to open a new toy - a Leatherman Tread.  I'm 99% sure it's a counterfeit Tread, but I only paid $30.  It's surprisingly nice for a cheap knockoff.

Some of those counterfeits are well made.  It's all in the metallurgy.  The great thing is you can use it and not worry about it!

JonesE if you've used it before I'm sure you already know this but make sure you apply that BLO and mineral spirits in a well ventilated area. Rubbing alcohol will clean the BLO from your hands when you're done, and make sure any rags get thrown away outside in a metal can because they can spontaneously combust.

It WAS good eating Barry

5 Guys opened in the UK in 2013 and my one opened 10 years ago in 2014. I go about twice a month (on average)
It is sooo close it would be rude not to  (Visiting Italians, courtesy of Mrs Surge  :twak: love it)

If you look at the pics' (from their webpage) the bit circled in blue is where I live, it's not my actual place as mine is slightly further along and not visible in the shot. I timed it at 53 seconds door to door on foot   :-[

WDT '24 Day 23
Dropped someone off at the airport this morning.  I waited until I was alone in the truck to put multiple multitools on the dash for a picture in the traffic.   They already worry about my sanity so I don't need to do anything more to convince them. :ahhh

Day 23 of 30

Used DF to remove our cordless vacuum cleaner base to another place, also used it to drill holes for new place.

Armbar Slim and I are still trying to figure out if Leonardo was awake or asleep in the final scene of Inception.
