Day 2: tightening down a loose grab handle.  I wound up switching bits out for a smaller one.  Does anyone else carry the bit kit with theirs?  I broke down and bought the Gerber leather holster for mine

Day 2 of 30

Today started with multiple uses of CenterMan.
First cutted pieces of sitko flex with blade, i needed it to block cold air for coming inside and also taped cable net connector in place so it wont drop (happened few times).

Then needed to change battery to clock and used prybar to remove battery.

And lastly opened package what contained cat food for our cats ( 3 cats)

In picture our Zelda shes our oldest cat 4y

WDT '24 Day 02
I used the blade on my CD to cut a tag out of a shirt.  The DF was on standby.

I like the blade on mine.  It's handy to deploy and holds an edge well.

I needed bit sharpening on knife before it came razor sharp. Somehow when i have bought brand new Gerber all of them required soft touch on stone. Is it purposly bit blunt as new or do i just have bad luck. 3x Centerdrive and Flatiron

Same here Antti.  Actually, that's been my experience with most new blades anymore.

Great first day pics, everyone!  :like:

This is a perfect example of why the Center Drive is so nice.  Most other multitools would be clumsy turning that screw.

Day 2

Since we were discussing rust, today's post is today's carry along with my magic anti-rust potion.  My carry today is my Armbar Drive. It doesn't have a pocket clip because I never carried it before - after the initial test of the scissors which didn't work as well as I had hoped, I just consigned it to multitool purgatory (my collection box).  I'll give it another chance today.

My magic anti-rust potion is Tuf-Glide dry lubricant.  I use this on all of my tools - just spray all over, wipe it down with a microfiber cloth, and let it dry.   When a tool gets used/wet/dirty, I just wipe it down again.  I keep the used cloth in a Altoids-sized tin for light jobs (e.g. just remove hand sweat).  I never get rust on my tools  :tu:

Day 2

Used the blade of the Center Drive to free a new to me Griptilian. The Grip will be a future candidate for a blade swap. Coated and combo blades are not my thing. So, I don’t normally use the blade on a Multitool all that often. I daily carry a dedicated knife and use that. If I do use the blade on the Multitool, it is usually for scrapping or light prying. I guess, I haven’t abused the blade to much on the CD yet. It sliced right through the packaging an broke down the box quickly and effortlessly.

DAY 1
Well, what a great start to the tour  :woohoo:

My use is pretty mundane by comparison - just postal duty (opening this years Vic' Alox L.E)  :dunno:

I'm off work for a couple of days now so I'll try and get my only other candidate (Dual Force) in play  ;)

Great turnout everyone!!  I agree Rich, that long driver is so handy.  Someone once said to me that it's a multitool that you can actually use.  In a lot of cases, I agree.

when it comes to bitdrivers on multitools clear winner is Gerber it puts every other multitool in shame.
Center axed driver is just what every MT needs.

WDT '24 Day 03
I tried to complete a project last night, changing a plug on a battery charger, that the CD was too big for.  So, I had to use the precision drivers. I did use the wire cutter though.  Not great on stranded wire, but multitools rarely are.

Day 3

UPS just dropped off a package, and I recognized that security tape instantly.   I used my Slim Drive to open it...

My Ratchet Driver  :woohoo:  And, of course, Leatherman was offering a free bit kit on orders over $120, so I had to buy a couple more things

Day 3

We had a little bit of clear skies here today. I took advantage of it and used the Center Drive to tighten the hinges for my shed door. It is nice having a full size assortment of bits at the ready. The door opens and closes smoothly and doesn’t sag. A nice quick rewarding little project.

Day 4: Nothing heavy duty yet.  Opened a parcel with the blade.   There aren't many multitools that I don't also carry a knife along too, but this is one.  It's so handy.

Anyone notice the differences in tolerances between the USA Gerber tools and the imports? It's more evident in the liner lock than anywhere else. Course comparing my DF file to my CD there's a noticable difference in performance.

Powernoodle Day 4

I used the flat driver on my Armbar Slim to pop out the transmitter of my constant glucose monitor from the sensor that sticks to my arm.  Good times.

Day 4

Another chill day, at work and using the Armbar drive as a pocket knife/SAK. Using it to open boxes and cut a flap so I can write a list on it.
