Yeah I prefer the plain stuff, but all Costco currently sells now is the lime version.   :salute:

Day 16

I had to trim some small branches, and the lock lever has a habit of coming loose.  Micra did well tightening the screw fairly tight.

Thank you for the insight Power Noodle!

Would seem the dates would be much more beneficial than the poor choice I made last night of a handful (small) PeanutButter M&Ms 🙄

1 - 2#  bag to be delivered Thursday (tomorrow)!👍

Do you refrigerate once open?

Actually not a bad price if comparing with my goto M&Ms.!!!

Arrived today, and sampled.

Amazingly delicious!!!
The only thing I missed was yours were pitted, mine not🙄

Yet, pits separate easily!  Now chilling, as the package does suggest refrigeration after opening.

Thank you again, my problem will be restraint, as a serving is one and my taste test involved two. 😁
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 16

Popped the battery cover off my guitar tuner.   The mounting clip, and the rubber covering have fallen apart, but the tuner itself still works as good as new.

Replacing the battery isn’t pleasant as the rubberized coating has become sticky

I have a Micra that lives its entire life sitting in my bathroom cabinet.
Hope it gets oiled regularly! Though I seem to remember Leatherman tools coping with salty air okay.

Freed this Pioneer X from its package.
I'm still on the fence about that shade. Maybe it'll grow on me as you show it next month.

@FarmerX.  As discussed the custom Executive built and tried to described. Picture gives better insight.

Good stuff, peoples.

How is it?  I hear it's pretty good for cheap coffee, but I never got around to trying it.

Yes. Its a Snark. It’s the best kind that I have ever used. But all the reviews say that it gets gummy and falls apart. That’s exactly what happened to mine. Can’t bring myself to replace it since it still works fine  :dunno:

DAY 17

It's my Dads birthday today, it has just been over a year since his passing, if you would had said it was a month, or a decade....I would agree to both!

Anyway, on to the Micra....the build is on going, used the Micra to mark the window locations in the timber, using the flat head screwdriver (I couldn't find a pencil or pen, and had to get to work as presenting to 100 people today on hydromorphology at 9am)

I'd hazard a guess that it's okay in conventional form. The little single-serving instant packets are okay if you need one day's worth of coffee and can only spare a dollar.

Its a Snark. It’s the best kind that I have ever used.
I have to wonder how well they work on a Fender.

The build is on going...
Hopefully it progresses nicely. Save for maybe some quick plumbing jobs, all work on my present house has stopped.

More great stuff, y'awl!

Day 17

The guy I bought this radio set from used a bobby pin to move its band selector switch. I find it presents a perfect opportunity for testing out various multi-tool features.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

This set is a challenge veteran by now. Its value seems to be solely as a good test of multi design. That's probably the only reason I haven't stripped the circuit boards out of it.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Incidentally, the cap lifter is one of two Micra tools I have yet to use. And it's now time to charge the phone. But I am grateful that I succeeded in getting an earlier start to the day.

Day 17

When I purchased the Micra years ago, I was debating among it, or the Leatherman Style CS or the Gerber Splice.

I settled on the Micra for a few reasons (which I will probably discuss on a separate post here on the thread). One of the main reasons was the ruler. In my job at the time I occasionally needed to make rough estimates of the length of small things… on the order of a quarter inch to 6 inches at most.

So I settled on the Micra.

Today, I needed to make a rough estimate of what 1/3 of an inch looks like.

They work perfectly fine on a Fender.  The sold body doesn't make it any less accurate.  I have had other ones with large-enough-to-identify microphones that you might think would be needed because vibration isn't enough of a signal.... but the Snark is perfectly fine.  If you look at the reviews though, it is famous for falling apart and getting gummy.

It's really popular .... its the only kind that my office coworkers have agreed upon to purchase for the break room out of the company budget.  Personally it's too strong for me for breakfast.  It's almost like espresso.
