well comparing it to the OH GAK, the hole seems to facilitate the opening, but just a bit. It is less "pointy"(the blade) but i guess thats what the awl is for

and i dunno if its just me but it feels heavier that the OH GAK, maybe the handle material, not sure so any detailed input will be very appreciated

Yup, in years to come someone will pay way over the odds because it says "1 of 1000"

. I really don't like etching on blades of any kind. I think it's because it implies that the knife is for a collection and not for using. Still it's a good looking knife and I hope it gets used and properly and the etching gets worn away.
