Day 18

Seen below is what I would consider my minimum security blanket kit, including my phone (which took the photo).  And a bottle of water, forgot to add that.

More uses today.  Bought some new boots, third set I’ve tried from Amazon.  These Timberland boots felt much more comfortable than the rest and when I laced them up the plastic eyelits immediately popped out.  So I pulled out the riveting kit and set my own rivets in there.  Used the leatherman leap to rip out the rest of the plastic eyelits.

Day 19

A game I bought for my niece to play when she comes over.  I tried it, it's kind of fun I must admit.  :tu:

DAY 20

Here is my Leap with my Snake Wood Opinel #8 and my Nitecore Tini rechargeable flashlight that has 4 settings...1 Lumen, 38 Lumens, 145 Lumens, and 380 Lumens.

And here is my DAY 20 post for WHAT WOULD YOU TELL YOUR YOUNGER SELF?

If I was to talk to the younger me, I would advise me to be wiser about the money I spent leasing new cars over a 12-year period. I could have saved quite a lot on car payments and insurance if I would have just bought one good used car.

I have never done a lot of driving, so one good used car would have easily lasted during that 12-year period. During that 12-year period I only averaged around 7,000 miles per year. There was no need to have the new cars.

Day 20

I’d tell my younger self that everything is gonna be alright and to do what you love to do so well, that someone eventually pays you to do it.  Focus on experiences, rather than possessions.  Chase knowledge, and take time for yourself.

Day 20

What would I tell that young girl?
I’d tell her, you’ll be okay.  People will look after you when you go through some tough times, even the lunch ladies at the high school will give you free lunch tickets when they know you don't have any money.
You will have a rewarding career where you help people, just like you always wanted.
You may move around a lot as a kid, but once you get your first house with the help of your dad (thanks dad), you’ll stay there for over 40 years and counting.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

This has been such a fun challenge.  I know there is still more fun to be had but I wanted to pop in to say, great job from everyone participating  :hatsoff:.  Well done hosting FoBe.

I was lucky to find a Leap at my local flea market well after they were discontinued.  I need to dig it out at some point.
