Awesome that she gets to collect them now, LC.  :tu:

When she started, it brought out the little girl in her🌹

After a while, I think she did it to irritate my DAD as the cabinet was full😏.  Because after he passed away she no longer acquired any additional dolls.

They grew up during the depression and WWII, lived with in a half a mile of each other and actually met in high school. Married, built a house north of town just a couple miles if that from where they grew up. Mom still lives in that house. Strong Dutch heritage!

Still rural, a trip to the grocery and not much of any restaurant offerings for miles.  Life is good for her!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Day 24

You know how everyone has their cure of preference.  I swear by Alka-Seltzer.  It seems to handle most of my ailments.
I'd be happy to send you some Legend if needed.  :hatsoff:

Lunch!!

(Image removed from quote.)

I thought a dose of homemade chicken soup would be better for you today, considering your reported symptoms

But then  :dunno: :drink:

Well, to be fair, I went in there for miso soup, but I guess my order didn’t come with that.

In theory, it’s better for me to be sick on weekends, so I’m not penalized for missing work.  I’m freelance so if I’m not there, I don’t get paid.
