This LE 2018 Berry Pioneer is my favourite SAK.

I bought it in Apr 2019, and carried it daily more than 90% of the time over the last 5 years.

There is a decent amount of wear on the key ring side scales, because I hang it from the pocket with a Nite Ize S-Biner #1.

Naturallly there is a miny fresh spare tucked away for a rainy day.

Great minds think alike. And great looking sak!

I got Berry as a Christmas gift in 2018 and she’s been in my pocket everyday since. Seen a lot of use in that time.

I denuded mine of the key ring within an hour of opening it.

If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

You guys wanna see how big of a moron I am? I actually used and carried this guy unti I realised it was actually worth something. But then again, they're tools and meant to be used, so I'm not too upset. Plus, I don't think I'd ever part with it.

It is great to see a well-used and carried tool, and it has worn in splendidly!  :like:

Nah, use it like it was designed to be used!  :tu:  :like:

I wanted one of those Damasteel Pioneers badly at the time but missed out.

It’s looking good  - I missed out on them too, but my 2016 PX Damast gets pocket time, though it usual only opens post or beer bottles so it’s looking factory fresh!  :drink:

Those limited and/or pricey SAKs would not find their way into my pockets. Not that I can afford them anyway... :poh:

Not a moron! The tool was made to be used.

No shelf queens!  :viking:  :D

I can see both sides of that coin. My main argument for keeping such things as safe queens is that I would be (to say the least) very upset if they acquired so much as a small ding, never mind if something were to break. That's why my carriers are easily replaced.

Fair point, and no harm in that!  I personally am not a collector, so I don't mind the wear and tear.

That being said, I do have the cadet winter magic from last year which I can't bring myself to carry.  I'll probably end up selling it.

I love the knife. I love that damasteel blade and I would absolutely kill for the PX or the SC in damasteel. I carry a Swiss Champ every day alongside an alox model (mostly an Electrician, sometimes a Harvester, rarely a Pioneer). I love the look of the SC in damasteel.
