Quick question... that bag that says "FAK" says "AFF" on the other side right?   :pok:

Adult Friend Finder? Asean Football Federation? Arab Film Festival?

The Smith's sharpener is great for the size, price, etc. But it truly is no substitute for a proper stone. Nice to have though when your blade slips and you flatten the edge. I did that the other day and the Smith's thingy had me back to sharp right there on the spot. That was nice.

I argee.  I have the same pocket sharpener and it's fantastic for "on-the-go" sharpening.

I just noticed that my bag is almost identical to yours but mine's all black.  :tu:  (I'll have to post pics soon.)

FAK AFF?

I thought that one was pretty obvious... read it out loud to yourself, but not too loud if you are at the office!  :ahhh

Is that the response you got when you read it aloud?  :D

Lame joke I know, but there's a story behind it.... not much of one- one of those "you had to be there" things.  An inmate needed to go to the hospital after a short "discussion" with another inmate, and he was a bit lightheaded from the experience.  While waiting for the paramedics we started to administer first aid and the inmate, in a shocking moment of clarity asked if that was the kit used for guys who were "all fakked ap?"

Nothing like a good head injury to help them see the light though- at least temporarily.

One screw I used to work with once told an inmate that he (the inmate) was so stupid, no wonder they caught him.  :D

Here is my keyring EDC.  Slightly old pic as the SAK is now a Rambler most of the time.

Also my Altoids kit I made up not long ago.

I carry a lot more junk gear in my bag but I'll need to nick my wife's camera to get a shot of it.

Ok, here is what I EDC.  I have only included what I have on me all the time, not stuff that I have in my coat as well.  So here is what I have in my pockets.

In there is;

-Leatherman Knifeless Fuse - All tools lock but no blades so I can carry it at work.
-Victorinox Stag Safari Hunter - Has pretty much everything "sharp" on it that the Fuse doesn't have, so it is removed before I go into work.  Has small screwdriver in corkscrew.
-Large Sack-up - Stops my Safari Hunter getting full up with crap whilst it sits in my car.
-CRK Small Regular Sebenza - Is put on the side before I leave the house (sadly).  Is often swapped out for any of my other folders.
-Victorinox "Scholar" SAK - Modified by Neil (NKB).  It has no blades so can be carried at work and has a toothpick.
-58mm SAK sheath - Houses the Scholar and prevents anyone panicing if for any reason it slips out of my pocket.
-Motorolla Z8
-Fisher Space Pen - Fitted with black refill, so together with the Scholar I have 2 different colours.
-Atwood FunnyBone - Good tool to twin with pliers.
-Imco Triplex Lighter
-Fenix L2D Q5 - Left in high setting for blinding and far distance use.  Uses Eneloop batteries.
-ChapStick.
-Suunto Advisor - Has compass, altimeter, Barometer and is as tough as nails.
-Car keys.
-Damascus fob.
-Jetscream Whistle.
-Atwood Flat GasBaby - Nice and light for keyring carry and works well with the FunnyBone.
-Keysergeant.
-Uncle Bills Sliver Gripper - Great tweezers that were needed as Scholar had the toothpick.
-ARC-AAA Premium - Fitted with lithium battery which is brighter and lighter.  Has a good low beam so works well with the Fenix.
-House keys.
-Swisstech Utilikey - The only sharp thing I take to work.
-ResQMe.
-Sosakonline.com carabiner - handy to have and promotes the site.

This set up is working damn well.  :tu:

So if you want to get into a bottle of beer how long does it take to decide which opener to use?  :P ;)

Seriously though that is an impressive amount of very nice stuff.

That is very annoyingly the only tool I have duplication of (apart from PE blades but I like the idea of having 2).  I suppose if I ever wanted myself and 4 of my mates to open a beer all at the same time I'm ready.  :D

For those that don't know, it's only imitation Stag.  All the Staggy looks without any of the shrinkage or brittle drawbacks.  :D

It obviously adds bulk, but not a lot IMO. It's really well made as well.
