I carry this in my jeans pocket all the time. The key and credit card are there so if I dash out of the house in a hurry, and don’t have time or inclination to grab the bag that has my proper wallet and other gear, I have the very basics: I can pay for stuff, I can get back in the house.

What brand is that 1/4" to 4mm adapter? Is half the 4mm bit in the adapter? If it is, that means it is deep enough for double-ended bits, so I could carry that adapter and replace all my regular 4mm bits with double-ended ones and double my capacity.

Where did you find those scales, and are they 3-D printed?

The fella from UK, who sold me these, on eBay, didn't say if they're  printed scales or not.

They look printed and have endured rigorous use, for 6 months!

They are thin!  Plus I had to further grind out the pen slot, for pen in scale to sit flush against my Equestrian's liner.

After setup, I discovered that an old Wenger tweezer fit the scales tweezer-slot much better than a Vic tweezer.

My EDC "stuff" does tidy up quite well:
Skeletool is light enough to clip into a top shirt pockets.
EDC pouch, into left front pants pocket.
Heater into right front pants pocket.
Gerber MP400 into belt pouch, back left.
    &
Vic 111mm Equestrian, clips into left front pants pocket.

Seems like more than I would want to pocket, but if it’s working for you, carry on!

This Etsy vendor has superb non-metal, plus scales that require no additional work to fit!

He's not a great communicater and it take a few weeks for the scales to get to USA, from London, but at their price, they're well worth the wait!

I got some of those Taschenmesser scales, they are good.

Then I lost the knife that I put them on

That’s actually the one I have that is wrapped in red tape, seen in the thread, which unfortunately won’t work with double-ended bits. I had forgotten it was a Wiha part until I saw the image you posted.

That's disappointing. With how longer it is than a common adapter, I figured it would surely be deeper than those. Oh, well. That's for clarifying that for me. Back to the hunt.
