Going to do the Alox Addict 30 day Challenge starting June if anyone would like to join.  I've gotta have the Alox Homer Simpson Badge!!!
Merit Badges Must post a step by step pictorial of a knife or MT Mod, done by you that includes changing the main chassis of the tool in a significant way. By machining, welding or cutting original design to accept new tool loads. Requests will be reviewed. Must post a step by step pictorial of a knife or multitool modification (scale swap not included) Start a new thread and post a photo of the discontinued sak/mt for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the modified sak (scale swap not included) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with a photo of your custom ALOX with scissors Start a new thread with a photo of a modded knife or multitool with your EDC Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Start a new thread and post a photo of a flashlight as part of your EDC Start a new thread with a photo showing the Swiss Army Knife   Toothpick being used in an unusual way. This was fun last year.  Lots of neat models.

It was in August for the inaugural run. I don’t know if that was just a good month for it or because of the alliteration.

By the way, since you guys are al 'alox addicts', can anyone tell me what in the heck I've got here?? It's allegedly a +B model but it doesn't have his logo on the blade. It's the orange one, by the way... alongside a blue solo. It's got a pruning blade, two(!) main blades, a saw, and a marlinspike. What is this thing??

Yes. But you are only allowed one challenge badge a month.

Thank you so much! I had no idea about this thing. Does anyone know why some +B models have the stamp on the blade and why others don't?

i'll be doing the flashlight challenge in June but i'm awlso planning on doing the AA challenge again in August like last year. i'm glad to see there is interest in the homer badge!  :ahhh

I thought I'd committed. Guess not. But I must ask a question: does Wenger Eloxy count? (It did last year.) I have a plan for this challenge, and Wenger Eloxy comprises ten percent of it.

Well, I know that Roger (+B) assembled some knives himself using parts from Vic.  Others were assembled at the Vic factory to his specs.  If I had to hazard a guess, it would be that the former have the stamp while the latter do not, but I am not certain of this.
