A see through with a Bijou transparent wannabe.  I have a turkey photo from this morning somewhere.  I will try to dig it up.  Two turkey dinners.... I mean two tom turkeys.  Best wishes.  G

When I shared my two see-throughs last month, I forgot about my Timekeeper Alarm.   :(

Mostly prefer 2-4 layers but happily make an exception for the Ranger, paired with the Skele it’s an awlsome combo

Hope you’re having a good weekend Gary et al

That Silvertech is a beauty.  The Skeletool fits right in too.  Has see-through holes all over it.  I live in a sort-of tourist town here.  Appalachian Trail hikers come through twice a year.  Scottish festivals in the summer.  Ruby mines and gem shows. Leaf lookers in the fall.  Almost no leaf lookers this year because of the hurricanes.  Bad business for all the motels and restaurants.  Town is quiet anyway with no traffic on the roads this year.  I heard the wild turkeys fly down off their roosts this morning into my yard.  Went outside at lunch and almost tripped over a deer.  Best wishes.  Gary

Silvertech Fieldmaster on mail duty this evening. I'm hoping to pick up a set of see-thrus for my new Ranger in the near future, too

The internet has been wonky this week, so it might be a good idea to post today.  How about some fall colors?  Best wishes.  G

Tell me Montana.  Do teachers still make the kids draw an outline of their hands and color it in to look like a turkey?  We had to do that.  It got a little embarrassing once we were old enough to drive to school.  The class Thanksgiving party made it worth it.  Chek cola, candy corn, and orange colored circus peanuts.  I almost forgot the candy cigarettes.  Anybody remember those?  Mmmm.  Best wishes.  G

Store brand drink from Winn Dixie supermarkets.  We used to get the half root beer, half cola.  Don't know if they still make that.  Grade Mothers would buy whatever was cheapest.  Best wishes.  G

Kids will drink anything.  At least they used to.  A Chek cola and a candy cigarette.  Now that's refreshing.  Best wishes.  G

I remember candy cigarettes. Blowing the powder out to simulate a puff of smoke.

I remember those candy cigs.  Don't think parents would care for them now-a-days.  I've heard of Chek cola but never had one.  We used to drink RC Cola as kids.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

I'm sure we will have a handprint turkey or two adorn our refrigerator this year made by my own children. I don't have my students make them since they are all middle schoolers... maybe I should, though. It might be a great display of bad attitudes and lack of participation, though. That's the fun part! You never know. They mat love it!

Here's my submission for see-through Sunday. As usual, my favorite Tinker with plus scales. Got busy with bath time and putting kids to bed and forgot to post it.

Great pics, all ! :like:

Chek and RC cola are still around! We very rarely drink cola and the like anymore. But we do keep a 12 pack sleeve of Chek cola & Chek old draft style root beer on hand for the occasional seafood or crawfish boil. When we make old fashioned popcorn I absolutely have to have Cola with that too.

Me too! All of the first run Cybertool translucent tints were fantastic, imo! I've sent Vic a email about reissuing the colors, they were quite nice in their reply, but I'm sure it isn't a high number request.

Yes! Giving up doesn't produce any good result. I've often been able to find relatively rare and obscure items by reaching out to members online from posts made over a decade ago. In one instance a rare Arc flashlight was sent to me for free, the forum member had moved on in his life and had zero interest anymore. He said he received a email private message notification via the forum he hadn't visited in years. He absolutely refused to take payment. Big dividends in asking, the worst case is usually a polite no.
