  When I was a pup, the teachers all had little boxes of stars in their desk top drawers.  Don't ask me how I know.  If you were good, teacher would lick the adhesive back of a star and stick it on your forehead.  Gold was best.  Then came silver with red a close third.  When kids got too old for that stuff, they would just get stuck to a paper or drawing or whatever was worthy of notice.  The other end of the scale involved getting whacked on the head with a ruler or some such.  Sometimes just some spat, spat, spats on the palm of your hand.  One sadistic old sow would pull up your pants leg and warm up a calf with a ruler. 
   School days, school days,
   Beat you with a rule days.
   Sitting in the corner,
   With a dunce cap,
   Like a fool days.

    Very clever with the glowing tape.  Looks impressive.  One of our members who must have been stationed in Korea had some that had been back-painted evidently.  Gundam style, he called it.  They probably started out as the silvertech.  I don't know for sure how it was done.  Best wishes.  G

A translucent Tinker with the TL that I am currently carrying in the SAK-a-like challenge.  The pocket dangler makes it easy to hang up your pocky nife.  Might even have other non-decorative uses?  Who knows?  Best wishes.  Gary
