MONSTER DAY 04

Today it was the 90s SwissChamp again paired with the mini cosmos LEP (laser excited phosphor) Laser flashlight. These two were a great pocketable duo that had me covered in the city today as the LEP is a really compact but also extremely powerful self defense light- even during the daytime. although it did not get deployed it was nice having it on my person. Ended up using the SC mag glass to read some tiny text and the small blade to open some things.

then later in the day my wife and I went to an island estate that has an extremely old chapel with ancient religious relics it was fascinating but unfortunately photographs were not allowed so here's just a shot of todays carry.

some great uses and pictures by awl :2tu:

TOOLS USED SO FAR:
✅ Pen
✅ Flathead on cap lifter
✅ Magnifying Glass
✅ Small blade

Day 4:

I used the wood saw to clear some brush growing around my favorite hammock hanging trees. Once the hammock was up, the rest of my afternoon was quite relaxing.

Day 4:
We got some much needed rain all day today so, again, we hung out inside and kept packing up the house. Unfortunately only had one chance to use my SC and that was using the scissors to cut some tape to pack up a couple of items I sold.

Same here. But I don't think we needed it.

Time for some SC !
I can't make out the markings on the dial. What kind of watch is that?

Great stuff thus far, y'awl! :2tu:

used the Reamer/Awl to open a package containing my new SwissTool  :ahhh

carried the SwissChamp in my pocket today and the SwissTool on my belt in the sheath that it came with and it surprisingly wasn't too heavy or bulky. But the Standard SwissTool is definitely a BEAST  :viking:

Day 5:

Went for a hike today. I used the SC for a few small cutting tasks; nothing too interesting. But the view was gorgeous.

Day 5

Swisschamp XL getting ready to head out. All the tools I think I will need for 1.5 weeks off grid. Used the scissors for some grooming and to trim a loose string.

Congrats! I think it is a great combination. Interested in how you like the Swiss Tool once you have had a chance to use it more.

Day 7 : A slow day with a good book on the "Middle" ages

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

This is the first time I edc a magnifying glass, but  haven't used it to read, just to take a splinter out my wife's palm, but frankly the glass didn't help that much. The tweezers did, however !

No pictures, as, again, she would not have appreciated my taking the time for that at the moment.

Always better to keep your wife happy than to impress the MTO brothers, I say.  8)
