Day 9

Used the hook as a platform for video on my phone of some brown bears fishing.  Cannot take pics of both without editing from my camera, so this is of the XL, taken with my phone, lol.

 :like:

yeah those tiffany SC sure do look beautiful.
i've bid on a few of them on eBay but they always end up going for a ridiculous amount of money.
i've got a tiffany classic SD in sterling silver and it's pretty heavy i can't imagine how wonderfully weighty that tiffany Swiss champ would be.

it would be awesome to carry one!  :ahhh

I got this Tiffany classic SD at a police auction for 20 bucks it was being auctioned off as a stainless steel Swiss Army knife. I took one look at it and knew it was a Tiffany classic but it was really dirty and in pretty rough shape so the Tiffany hallmarks were not very visible.
I have since cleaned it up but It still definitely needs a good polish.

MONSTER DAY 09

carried my mid 90s SwissChamp today along with the weltool "elegant panther" T2 TAC tactical flashlight and the SwissTool BEAST
:viking:

used the SC in-line Phillips driver to tighten a handle on a pot. it really is the Cadillac of Phillips drivers. The one on the BEAST is also really nice and definitely a lot beefier but the SC got the job done :salute:

TOOLS USED SO FAR:
✅ Pen
✅ Flathead on cap lifter
✅ Magnifying Glass
✅ Small blade
✅ Reamer/Awl
✅ Cap lifter
✅ Scissors
✅ in-line Phillips driver

Day 9:

I had to learn how to use a brand new beard trimmer today, that came with the tiniest instruction manual of all time. The SwissChamp magnifier helped immensely.

Day 9:
More SC use with moving tasks. Phillips screwdriver was used to removed some screws holding the baby gate from around the woodstove.

Days 6 and 7:

I just got back this afternoon from a couple of days out hammock camping. The main blade, saw and file were all used to cut new toggles for hanging my tarp and bear bag.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Today. I used the main blade to cut the tab on a jug of water, and the awl to punch a vent hole.

That is a workout!

Is a Swiss Champ enough for some days in the wild?

Playing catch up a bit. Since we are moving, we started making phone calls to close services. One of those being our wifi which ended Monday morning. The kids have been playing on our phones while we have been packing and loading the trailer. So here it goes

Day 5:
Took a little break and helped my daughter make a couple of beaded bracelets. Used the scissors to cut the sinew.
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Day 6:
I hauled my weedeater in the last load we took and it's in a storage unit 200 miles away. Used the scissors and main blade to cut these suckers off of the crab apple tree in the front yard.
[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Day 7:
The house is a disaster with boxes and junk everywhere waiting to be packed at the last minute. So here's a messy end-of-day moving picture.

Hope it's going well with your move. And soon you'll have a little time to relax.

And used : flat sd, philips sd, knife. Tried pliers but finally had to go to a dedicated tool. The bolts were too big.

Day 10: SC Pliers
🕷️Spider-Man was in distress! His leg was broken, and the SC pliers were perfect for holding the tiny leg in place while the superglue worked its magic.

MONSTER DAY 10

went to the beach for most of the day today and the SC stayed in the car to avoid any exposure to sand. Later changed a spark plug in my lawn mower but the SC pliers were too small so the SwissTool BEAST stepped in for the job.

no action shots but here is a shot of princess Bella with the SwissChamp  :dd:

Day 11 Post

Used “cap lifter” to open a vacuum sealed ball jar.  We are out camping and keep sugar and creamer in a sealed jar.  Sugar and creamer do not lump.   Wife thought we were stuck with no coffee fixins,  until the SAK Champ came out.  Softly lifted jar lid to allow re-use.
