It got me wondering how everyone else carries their monster EDCs
Before my SwissChamps were passed on to other MTo members, I carried one in a Victorinox pouch and later switched to a dedicated pocket (hidden behind the big cargo pocket of the tactical pants I wore at the time). If I get another SwissChamp, I'll make or have made to my specifications a pocket slip and/or belt pouch.

More great stuff for today (and the past few days), y'awl! :2tu:

Been busy, busy, busy with the move, trainings, and setting up new classrooms. Playing catchup a little

Day 14:
Cut my nails with the scissors and files the edges down

Day 15:
Yesterday evening we went to the city park and listened to some live music. The boys wanted to play in the water of course, so I pulled off a couple of pieces of cottonwood bark and carved them a couple of little "boats" to float down the creek.

Day 16:
My kids knocked the sliding screen door off of the track so I uses the Philips to loosen the screws and get it reset

Day 16: it was a very long day today. My daughter and I biked 12 miles to the Vanderwhacker mountain trailhead, and then hiked to the top and climbed the Vanderwhacker fire tower. Then back down and 12 mikes of cycling home again. My legs are completely done. A total of 4 hours and fifteen minutes of hiking, and 3 hours of cycling through the mountainside. .

All I had a chance to do was to snap a quick shot of my Swisschamp next to the USGS marker at the top of the mountain.

Day 17 Post

Buzzbait - sounds like you had a good time.

We picked some peaches with grandkids and decided to use grocery store pie crust for pies since the kids were in a hurry to have some pie.  SC scissors open the crust packages out of two pies, this is lucky to remain.

Hopefully your pets do better with that sort of thing than mine do...

Olive oil in a spray can? I've used that before, and it's rather convenient.

Day 18:

Lots of driving home from the mountains today, so not much opportunity for SwissChamp used. But I did cut down an egg carton this morning, to save room in the food cooler.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

This is also my first summer attempting to grow cannabis in my vegetable garden. One of the plants sadly showed to be a male when I got home. So I had to use the wood saw to cut it down and bag it before it pollinated my other plants.

So how are you liking the Swisstool?

i'm really liking it so far. the ST is like having a legit tool because everything locks and the standard model is really solid and built well. It definitely is a BEAST Weighing in at more than 10 ounces. It's more of a belt pouch carry. I like it so much I'm thinking about getting the Spirit MX I feel like that could be a nice middle of the road carry between the swisschamp and SwissTool standard. Apparently the spirit only weighs one more ounce than the Swisschamp. the SC has more tools so it is perhaps more useful however the ST is more like an actual tool that you would reach for. Both have their benefits. I think if I was going to be banished to the mountains and could only grab one it would probably be the SC though but I don't know 100% yet-  it's a close one for sure.

Awesome. I have both variants. I think both are very capable tools. I find the Spirit is more pocket friendly with a very similar toolset. The SwissTool is a little beefier. I like the ruler too. Thought call. I would probably opt of either version vs a SC if I were put in a survival situation!
