DT8K Facemelter
Facemelter? Is that the name the manufacturer gave it? Use with extreme caution, I guess.

Good prep this morning opening some bacon!

I did cut down an egg carton this morning, to save room in the food cooler.
I never would have thought of that. Some sweet Micarta scales on your SC, too! :tu:

Day 19
What kind of soup is that?

naw it's just the name i've given it because the eight osram W2 emitters crank out a whopping 8500 lumens into a large hotspot of 190,000 candela. definitely don't want to look directly at it when it's on turbo.

Day 20 Post

We are going camping for a few days.  I find it necessary to brush/clean my electric razor.  I seem to have lost the brush.  Let’s find another, but, it needs to be shortened to fit the travel case.

Day 21 Post

Had to open a shelf stable box of milk.  The little pull tab failed.  I have previously used both the large and small blades when the tab failed.
This time I decided to see if the awl would work.  It did, but a bit more difficult than a blade.  Just had to keep the sharp edge angled properly.

Day 21:

My SwissChamp totally saved the day today. I grabbed a clean pair of athletic shorts out of the laundry this afternoon, only to find that one end of the drawstring had been sucked into the elastic waistband. Fortunately for me, it didn’t get sucked in too far. I was able to insert the SwissChamp’s multipurpose hook into the hole, and fish the drawstring back out.

Day 21: SC Magnifying Lens

Today, I attempted to use my Swiss Champ's magnifying lens to tackle a Chinese text.
While the lens helped me see the characters clearly, the translation feature didn't seem to work!  :dunno:

Day 21

Used the main blade to open some coffee. I am trying to use blades instead of scissors to see how I get by.  Because, I found a Cybertool 29 that I think will be great EDC paired with a pliers tool or set of pliers.  Will see.

I can't help out there, either. I struggle enough to read German.

Used the main blade to open some coffee.

You can add your name to the list and follow the rules on the first page of this thread. You basically post a picture each day of the challenge for the entire month and share thoughts and comments of using said tool throughout the month. At the conclusion, you can request a badge that will appear on each post you make telling other members what you have completed. A fun way to engage with the broader community and also to learn about certain tools.

I didn't know there is a badge for this challenge! I couldn't find any when I checked before the challenge started!
Could someone clarify this for me please?

Day 22

I know the hoof cleaning hook of the Workchamp XL has mixed reviews,  especially if you do not own a horse. I actually find it useful as a back scratcher.
