I have looked, checked and asked questions. Short story is, that the package hasn't arrived in the country yet. My national post therefore can't see anything besides that it is registered as having been handed in by the sender with destination to me. :dunno:

well i'm smurfed to no end over this. and to be honest if any other transport service had just a slightly easier way of package pickup and more competitive prices on average they are over 3 times more expensive), our postal service would hardly be able to exist

a bit of an update - I got a reply yesterday that the complaint was dismissed due to no receipt of delivery which we don't have since it wasn't delivered. i logged a complaint about the complaint being dismissed

That is both crazy and infuriating !   ??? :rant: :twak: :twak: :twak:

I always paid extra for insurance and signature required on anything I would be annoyed if it went "missing".  I figured the extra paperwork required for an insurance claim would discourage lazy and/or dishonest staff that might be tempted to not do their job properly (or worse still - steal).

If we can figure out a reasonable way to get it there, I would  donate a few items to help get a new one started if it stays disappeared.

well if I know anything it is how to be stubborn. hell even managed to get a refund from Ikea which is usually unheard of here. they normally just bury everything under a 7 Euro gift card and get on with their lives

the box is back! everything is still inside and the official reasoning is that there are some items which are unsafe to transport by airplane. I'll also get a partial refund for the shipping costs.

now the fun part - the official reasoning is dated to 26-05-2025, after I started being annoying. might be it took this long, might be someone wanted to pocket the items and saw that I was asking about what is going on.

I'll remove the problematic items, see If there is a way to replace them with any safe to transport items I have as backups and it will be on it's way. again. hopefully.
