The tracking service shows that the box was last night at Helsinki-Vantaa airport and on it's ways to Ireland. It's intresting to see how far I'm able to follow it.

I got one question. On the first round i put in a hand forged fixed blade with a leather sheath that wasnt in the box anymore but i havent seen anyone picking it either. Has someone forgotten to post them picking it or has it been lost somewhere?  :pok:

Probably just forgot.  I had some stuff from our surprise box spill down into a recliner once.  I saw something poking up from a cushion and fished it out.  Best wishes.  G

It might be on me. I had two passaround boxes starting from my place at the same time beginning of this year and might have placed that particular knife in the wrong one. I definitely remember seeing it from the first "season".
If that's what happened, first of all, my sincere apologies JowiiYoyo  :oops:, and secondly, the other box (a French knives forum one I started a few years back) is planned to be back at my place in August. The knife should still be in there, I saw no one claim it. If any of you feel like they would have taken it given the opportunity, I can send it to you, or at least put it back in our MT.org box and make sure the box stops by your house on the next tour.
On a side note, the other box (the French one) is getting too heavy and people are asking me to bring down the number of knives inside.  If it's OK with the participants there (and you guys), I'll transfer some of the tools/knives that have been around a couple of times into our much lighter box, so it'll get a nice boost, while still keeping it under a certain weight for financial reasons.
If I didn't misplace that knife, it could be in a custom's official bag somewhere (I'm afraid at least two of my US acquisitions throughout the years ended up in someone else's pocket), but until I can check if it is not my error, let us not badmouth the wonderful people that got our box through so many borders (even though at least one of us had to fight hard to get it out of limbo)  :D

No apologies needed my friend. Im just curious to were it went and if someone picks it out of the french box that would be cool aswell :cheers: i just wanted the knife to find a new good home  :D

Super salmiakki was from me. It divides people in Finland too, not all finns like it. I prefer salty liquorice, stronger the better.

First, I took an Opinel No.10 inox because I already had a No.2, they look so cute together don't they?? :tu: The locking mechanism on the No.10 is interesting, and I've been fiddling with the corkscrew too much because it makes a GREAT click when pushed into the open or closed position. :facepalm:

I also took what we now call the FISHY KNIFE.  :ahhh
I'm a sucker for old established European brands with heritage (Vic, Opinel, and now this Mikov) and it looks super cute and reliable! The shape of the blade was a factor as well, I don't have anything with a concave clip point blade.

I took a bicycle multitool, because it has a socket drive and some small sockets.  :tu: can easily see that being useful.

The Strauss notebook because it's a small notebook with a grid (good for writing small and for maths)  :like:

Some sweet picks from the box!! The opinel corkscrew knife was from me. It came in a kit and we arent any big wine drinkers so it didnt get any use in my home. Hope you enjoy it. The number 10 is my favourite size of opinel!!  :cheers:

OK, the box is back home. Great to know how many kilometers it has seen in the past few months.

This is what I'm probably going to take.

Always wanted to try me a Gerber (this Diesel is a bit stuck, I'll see if I can get it working better and decide if I keep it or put it back in the box). And I definitely flashed on the Izula, because it reminds me of the Enzo/Briza necker. The Izula is the American/tactical version of that wonderful neck knife, and frankly, I like it more than I thought I would. 

The box will be taking a 15 day break, then will be back on track with a LOT of brand new MT, knives and EDC gear inside.

Nice to see that Izula found a new home. I hope you will find more use for it than I did. Mora eldris is my favourite neck knife and nothing seems to beat it.
