Nice!  Awlways like to see others carrying and using LEs!

Did you do the torx mod yourself? How useful do you find having the screws, do you take it apart very often?

And a very nice one! :tu:

Just a nice pic of the Pioneer X.

I still fail to understand that. What are you supposed to open a box with? Your teeth? :twak:

Yet another great day, y'awl! :tu:

Day 11

I've previously shown a green Alox Bantam from Swiss Knife Shop. Here's another. But this one ain't no safe queen.

This apple had to be eaten today. The Bantam teamed up with a Garberg to cut the apple.

And yes, I salted the apple.

Day 11:

Carried my Electrician all day today. Never even took it out of my pocket!  Haha

So, I used it to open a new bottle of aspirin tonight.

This is my pocket slip/sheath. The back loop is magnetic.

It’s MKM brand.

Trying to see if I should build this??  I’d like it, but I don’t have pivots that short and I’ve never peened one together…

That would make a nice little carry!

If you’ve already drilled the scales and tools out for 1/8” barrels, stock 3mm pins probably won’t work too well.

My pivots are the correct size. Nothing has been drilled out. Pivots sourced from DE Custom Forge.

Day 11:

I was in meetings all day at work and then had to go over to my parents to mow their grass, so no real use today. Drove the beater truck to their house and my home made rambler came along for the ride on the keys.

Ah, cool. I didn’t realize there were 3mm torx barrels available now.

It’s pure CYA, just like the warnings that coffee may be hot, dessicant packs in beef jerky aren’t to be eaten, etc.  So if someone acts the dumbsmurf, the company (or their attorneys) can say, “We warned people not to do this.”

Day 11:

I’m moving into a new office, and I decided to hang my whiteboard myself instead of waiting for the maintenance guy with a drill. The board is held on the wall by four Phillips screws, one in each corner. I started the holes in the drywall with the Pioneer X awl, then screwed in the screws with my Wave’s bit driver. This was all performed one-handed, since my other hand was holding the whiteboard in place.
