Day 13:

It’s hot as blazes, but I still needed to get out and do some more brush maintenance after work. Brought the farmer along.

Had a little competition between it and the battery chainsaw. You might be surprised to learn that the farmer…….

Lost handily to the chainsaw  :D

Package duty today.
That used to be nearly an everyday occurrence here. Did you get a new sharp?

Piercing eggs for boiling.
I've always gotten better results by eliminating that step.  Why, I don't know.

Chilii mayoannaise...
That's right up my alley! :like:

The awl on the farmer X is a brilliant strawberry corer...
I will have to try that with apples that have been sliced. Thanks for the idea!

Let's see if any one can guess where I am.
You seem to be near a stadium, but I cannot pinpoint a specific location.

More great stuff, y'awl! :tu:

Day 13

Here's another Pioneer, this one resplendent in red. It was acquired in a trade with SurgeUK.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The day's prop is, yet again, a radio set. Note in the photo above that the band selector switch is set to "NOAA." I was listening to their forecast at the time the photos were taken.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

NOAA are predicting highs in the 90s for next week. WXYZ's forecasting model says the same, while AccuWeather is saying highs of 100 for Monday and Tuesday. I thought I left that smurf in California! :twak: :ahhh
USN 2000-2006

Culling of the knife and multi herds in progress...

If I pay five figures for something, it better have wings or a foundation!

Day 13:

Used the black Pioneer twice today. I used the awl at lunch time to leisurely stab cheese squares out of a tiny reusable plastic container. Later on I used the awl to open up a new tire inflator that arrived in the mail.

Near a stadium is correct.  I'll update on Friday after I leave, with where, OPSEC and all, lol.

Day 14:

This is my first day posting a drawer queen. Not that this one is super valuable, and I’ll never part with it.

I’ll carry it in my Hitch+Timber slip, usually occupied by my Danish Bantam.  As I’m training as a back up team leader in the quality department today, it won’t see much (if any) use today.

The hens of the southern hemisphere are hard core, and so are their eggs. Refrain to pierce at own risk. You could blow a hole in the ceiling.  :pok:

Day 14 - 94 Wenger Soldier today - just received this one  from the big online auction house, the knife had a stiff action,  after some cleaning I was able to free up the blades. With some additional cleaning and oil on the joints it's ready to go back into service.

Cardboard cutting duty.
I use a utility knife on cardboard. Better to do that than risk running a blade with my atrocious sharpening skills

My guinea pigs go mad for this stuff....
The guinea pig I had when I was a kid went bonkers when he heard the refrigerator open. :D

Danish Bantam...

Giving Berry a little squeeze with the largest C-clamp I’ve ever seen.
That thing is monstrous! :o

Appreciating how sleek the Alox Bantam is!
Me, too!

More great stuff from awl, as usual! :2tu:

Day 14

Here's an Alox Bantam in standard silver. It paired up with an Opinel No. 4 for the photo.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

And while looking for paracord to turn into cable ties, I spotted some neon green. I figured it would look kinda cool on the carrier black Pioneer. There was a bit of lumpy waste, but most of the cord was usable.

I can only imagine how thin it is.  I love the alox Voyageur for its tin profile and it has added scissors.
