Day 1

I’m going to go through the Leatherman forum challenges for the first week, unless there’s a good read to carry something else, so for today, MiniTool Monday.

The first picture is a bit of light use at 3:30am during my night shift, the second is what I was carrying. The Raptors will be a pretty constant companion through the month.

July 3 will be Dog Day here. Post a dog or dog substitute photo if you can. Usual tool photo can be separate from the pet pix.
July 5 will be the first MTO Follow the Leader mini challenge.
The Leader says...Post something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue. A gift is acceptable instead of borrowed. Old doesn't have to be ancient. Just something you've had a while. Might take a couple of items to comply. Might take four? Make this post on Day 5. Best wishes. G

MTO Anniversary Challenge
Day 1 of 30

Being Micarta Monday, the Bull Nose seemed a fitting way to get started.

Powernoodle Day 1

Pocket dump:  Ruger LCP Max; Albuterol rescue inhaler (for the very remote chance that I encounter someone having an asthma attack); alcohol wipe, Wet Ones antibacterial wipe, and dog doody bag; Victorinox Manager, Screw Pop utility blade and Olight i3E EOS 1xAAA light; Victorinox Explorer Plus (My Precious); POM pepper spray (tested and approved by Lucky Gunner); and, a mini Sharpie.  Seems like a lot of stuff, but it is very manageable and most things weigh very little.  These toys bolster my delusion of having some degree of control in this cold, cruel world.

What better way to start off a new challenge than with a cigar?     Participants in other challenges know that I will try to limit myself to half a cigar a day.

starting off with something I can only blame on MTO - a pen that I normally wouldn't have considered to include in my EDC

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

A little sneak peek into my EDC pouch.
Do you carry that in a pocket or on your belt?

One of my camping setups...
I will show mine soon!

A pen that I normally wouldn't have considered to include in my EDC...
Zebra?

Lots of good photos already.
:iagree:

Day 1

Both the Super Tinker and the G-Shock DW-5600E used to be regular users, but have been largely retired due to their sentimental value trumping their utility value.

Day 1

For my first post, I am presenting one of my most-carried multitools, a Leatherman Crater C33Tx.  I have 100+ other tools that are objectively better, but something about this Leatherman hits me just right. It feels perfect in my hand and sits comfortably in my pocket. After some breaking in, the blade flips out so smooth ♥  I don't even mind the much-hated combo blade.  When Leatherman discontinued it, I bought 5 backups so I would always have one.  :tu:
