I almost forgot to share, have these two magnets on my range hood.

[ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

IIRC, designed and produced by Comis, then distributed by Nix.

I still owe many of you some magnets back in 2022(IIRC), and am just so busy nowadays with family life/Little guy, I probably just need to find time to complete that.

Skeletool Sunday.

Day 7
A big howdy do to all the camp followers for this challenge.  Back in US Civil War days there were always a string of wagons etc. following the troops wherever they went.  Curious, family members, sutlers, others less honorable.  Contrabands.  Reporters.  Hookers.  After the war, many of the sutlers liked to brag about their participation and pretended that they were part of the army supply organization.  They did sell little odds and ends that soldiers might need, but mostly they sold tobacco and booze.
At any rate, I trust the members following along are enjoying the posts.  Today it is a mini grinder.  I bought the little thing at a flea market for $3.  I saw some of the usual opportunists looking at a newcomer's table and picking through some of the choice items.  No price on a little aluminum case with this tool.  Nobody asked.  I did.  Not exactly a professional grade tool, but functional, nonetheless.  Someone added about a dozen diamond bits to the factory assortment of brushes and abrasive items.  Did a neat job of poking them through the rubber foam case liner.
Best wishes.  G

I am still waiting for a chance to get their buffet style MT, which one could choose what to install on the chassis.  Kudos to GOAT for starting this whole trend, and I am hoping their new tool can take it next level up.

I was very excited to see the Roxon Flex being announced. There are a few early reviews that are positive, so I will be getting it when it finally becomes available.

I was a little heavy on the EDC this morning, but reduced it substantially for church.

Good one noodle.  I never would have considered carrying cabbage leaves along with me.  I might have to try it.  Little packs of wet wipes are practically a must, I think.  I have a nice fat possum spotted for the 10 Day challenge.  Just in case.  Best wishes.  G

Day 6

This is something I EDC every time I leave the house but I'm not sure if I've shared it.  It's my Leatherman Tread bracelet.  It is a bit gimmicky but, I have used it several times to assemble/disassemble equipment when I was in a pinch.  I can even use 1/4" sockets with it and a open a cold one at the end of the day with it.

(Image removed from quote.)  (Image removed from quote.)
Very awesome to see someone with a Tread. I'm a huge fan, I've owned both the regular and the LT. But have settle on just the Tempo and sold the others. I don't carry it all the time due to its weight, to it it's a neat tool to have.

Day 7

Took the Workchamp with me for this weekend's trip.  Here it is taking in the view. I have to say the more I carry this knife,  the more I like it. I only wish it had one longer flat had driver for recessed screws,  but other than that I find this to be near perfect for my needs. One more layer and I could have sported it in next month's challenge,  but I just bought the XL version so I am covered.

I carry cabbage leaves in case I encounter a breastfeeding mom:

They are also good for knee pain:  https://nutritionfacts.org/blog/cabbage-leaf-wraps-for-arthritic-knees/

I have on quiet mornings this past week have been watching the beautiful scenery on Peacock while showing live the Tour de France bike race.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Two tour No. 8s and a Olive Wood No.8

Today they finished the 9th Stage, lots of km on gravel roads.  Dusty, feels as if I need a shower. 😎 :

And a drink.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Day 7 is already here?

Last night I needed to figure a way into a flashlight that I got from the electric co-op a couple years back.  Reached for my "smalls" tool bag and got it open with one of the small vice grips.
Figured that this everything goes type of challenge might be a good place to post it.
Tools range up to 6 inches and mostly fall into the cheap and cheerful category.  Quite certain that my PowerPint is probably half the cost here.

DAY 7

An extended shift at work today (again)  ::)

Here's my radio (Sepura Airwave) I was using these back in the mid' 00's when in the Police. It's actually older than some of the younger members of my team  :ahhh

We are supposed to be getting new versions which, I suspect, won't be new but just less old
They don't like it up 'em!

Day 7
Trekker helping with battery checks and storm prep.

While Beryl is going to make landfall further south, I am on the inland track. The wife is worried about power since we lost electricity for 5d after those tornadoes 6wks ago.
As for me I work on the road so depending how fast it moves I will likley be out in it.
Really just expecting a lot of rain

Edit, lots...and deleted extra pic
